The boots are great, but the sizing can be a bit confusing so I’ll explain a little bit. The Chippewa boots tend to run bigger than your average shoe size. For example, I wear size 11 men’s running shoes (11.5 for some high tops or skater type shoes) but with these boots I wear a size 10 men’s. However, be aware they can be a bit narrow and tight on the sides, so I would recommend the wide boot models. It’s was tight for me and I don’t have very wide feet. Last thing about size, just be aware the boots will be a bit stiff and rigid until you walk around in them for up to 24 - 48 hours. Hope this helps 👍🏼 ... show more

These boots are great for riding my Harley Davidson Road King in cold and wet weather. I ride all year long because I live on the California coast and it's nice all year. However, it gets cold and there are days when it's wet in the winter. These boots are heavy duty, insulated, water proof and have steel toes. I wanted all of these attributes for my winter and cold weather riding. They are nice fitting, I have wide feet so I purchased the wide option and they fit perfectly. These boots are AWESOME! I've owned a lot of work and/or combat boots over the last several decades and these are FAR superior to ALL of them! I have been wearing these every day at least 9 or 10 hours at a time for over 3 months now. I am almost constantly on my feet other than the times I'm squatting or crawling and no matter what I'm doing these boots are VERY comfortable. The inner sole took a little getting used to...when these boots were new it felt like the sole just ahead of the heal was digging into the bottoms of my feet at the outer edge of the arch but within a day or two the boots slightly adjusted and these boots are now as comfortable as my favorite pair of slippers. The build quality is pretty much perfect. The thick rubber soles feel solid and grip most surfaces well. The inner lining is slightly padded and well insulated but not too warm for most days. I feel these boots will probably last me for several years and when they do finally die I WILL be buying another pair! Bravo Chippewa! ... show more

Love the boots, very well constructed. The lining does make the EE size slightly snug but that is without much break in. I am usually a 12.5 wide and I ordered a 13 EE. The laces are too short and after spending this much and getting such a good boot you would expect to at least have the correct sized laces. I am not that big of a person. The laces barely make it up to the last hook to tie them. They won't come up to the eyelets at the very top. ... show more

I've been looking for these shoes for quite some time until I figured out what make they are. I usually wear a size US 12/ EU 46 and ordered a 12 wide, considering there weren't any size 12 left. I really love the wider toebox though and can't say I've ever had such heavy but comfortable boots before. The seller handled shipping and handling pretty decent, considering I ordered from Germany, since there is no single Chippewa reseller on our side of the pond. Boots are made in Vietnam though and since these are my first chippewas, I can't make any comparisons, but I have no issues so far quality wise and really like wearing these on a daily basis. ... show more

They came as promised - brand new, correct color and size. In case you're wondering, Chippewa no longer has the one- or two-year warranty. My brother-in-law told me they used to have it, which explained their very high prices. My husband and I think they are still worth the price, because they are made in America and are high quality. His boots lasted significantly longer than the Carolinas I got him, and the Chippewas went through WAY more abuse. I highly recommend that, if you're looking for a serious work boot that will last years, consider buying Chippewas. ... show more
