First of all I bought these for medium size areas that needed to be air-conditioned, They are working !!! that is the good, they do cool things down, I put them in my windows I am in a mobile home, so it heats up fast inside and these were a necessity not a want, Three prong plug with reset on them , they have knobs for coolness, and high low fan top knob lets you put temp coolness, bottom knob allows function you want, fan, high, cool, low cool it works and this is the pros The cons are this for me: The direction pamphlet is very confusing, so I had to figure out these things on my own, there is Styrofoam inside the unit and it is not clear if you are suppose to pull it out or not, so on one I did and it did not work the Styrofoam is to stay inside I suppose ???? many attempts of doing this and trying to figure out what needed to be done, Why is this a big deal, cause the water is not draining out of the air conditioners and I can't figure out why, so you hear the water inside but it is not draining it did drain out the front once, so I find myself trying to run fans at night to dry the water so any suggestion about this would be a help cause I seriously do not know what else to do to get the water to drain out of the drain holes, it is a concern as time goes on but I would purchase these again, I would just want better instructions not instructions for everything they make, they are good little machines I probably need new Styrofoam for one of them and someone to tell me how to get the drain hole to work, they seem to be holding up well it is a good company, they were packed very well, and delivered in advance of the time limit they gave, ... show more

This was a gift for a family , that their A/C broke and didn’t have the money to have it fixed. So I bought this for them , so they could have cooling in the night , so they could sleep well until they can afford to get their A/C unit repaired.
