This is a fine air brush and compressor combo. I got this and a set of paints and I was in the air brush game for like 60 units of currency. I got so much use out of this, highly recommend. I ended up shredding the tip off trying to take the nozzle off, I was trying to take of a part that don't come off so it's all my fault. I bought a different air brush on Amazon and it worked fine with this compressor. I liked it so much I bought it again along with a set of paints as a Xmas gift. The theme for gift giving for him was art so I thought of air brushes. He was pumped and ended up was interested in painting war hammer models Very happy, great price. Can't go wrong here, I made some nice stuff with it. Says it goes to 40 psi I'm pretty sure, or in theory it does? I guess that's around what all you need so it covers all your bases I guess. I think it does the above so you should be all set. That being said there is no pressure gage so you can't be sure what you are at, but it is adjustable. I guess I just really run it at full blast always. It doesn't have a tank so it can't store air, which it seems experienced user prefer, no noise while using amount other thing. Bottom line is it does work great, loved using this. Buy this and you can upgrade in the future. You can still keep this one too, it's nice to have multiple brushes

I recently started to get into models a few months back, and I need to find a good, but cheap alternative to an airbrush. I've looked into other airbrushes, sometimes spraycans, but they were either pretty expensive, or they just didn't function well. Although with this airbrushing kit, it was easy to put together and use at first, and outmost durable. Although I've had a few problems with it, like the compressor sliding off the table and such, but it can be easily solved by putting a mat under or mounting it into place. Cleaning was more or less a boring experience, but is needed to maintain your airbrush.

I do nails for a living and love using airbrush. In the past year or so, I have had to repurchase my airbrush until I ordered this one. This is by far my favorite air brush I’ve ever used. I’ve never had a problem with it. The hand held ones suck

This is a good air system for your airbrush, but it is NOT 40 PSI. It is around 19 PSI. Just if you wondering and wanted to use this for something else.

I'm new to airbrushing, but did the reading up on care and use in advance. A portable compressor isn't really ideal, but I didn't want to buy anything to expensive til I tried it. This worked well the first time I used it. I cleaned it well, and then put it away. Used it a couple days later and struggled with splatter no matter what I did. I made sure again everything was cleaned out, checked my paint ratios, even tried another paint brand. Same thing. I ordered an Iwata airbrush and tried it with this compressor just to rule out any problems. The Iwata was 100000% times better. Compressor still is not ideal for long sessions, but it works ok for in a pinch or travel. I wound up getting a different compressor with a gauge though as well.

needs a pressure gauge, but if you listen to the air, you can play it by ear and test until you get it at a workable pressure. ok for small use, but not for large projects, or making small art! more of a broad use airbrush.
