I had picked up a set of 12 Days of Christmas collector plates, some of which were in the original boxes and others were just wrapped in paper. I wanted something nice to store them in, and decided to go with this. These storage cases are really, really nice. I like that they have hard sidewalls for extra protection, and come with dividers to put between each plate. They are well made and should last a lifetime. I have two sets of china with service for 18 of each--used for family parties--and some of that is stored in flimsy quilted cases I picked up for a few dollars years ago. These are really sturdy. You may have to turn your cups sideways but everything does fit. They're a huge improvement over those plastic quilted things. Excellent. Overpriced? Not these days!

I purchased 3 of these to put my 100 year old antique Homer Laughlin footed cream soup bowls in. They were just the right size. I am glad that I purchased 3 since it took all 3 to store all of them (I have a service for 12). The bowls are not squeezed in and I do believe there is enough room to "protect" the small handles on the side. These are just perfect all the way around and 110% worth the purchase ... show more
