Chin-Moon Women's RDS Down Jacket Waterproof Winter Coat Thickened Long Parka in Black Small has met all of my hoped-for requisites: built to keep me warm in cold NH winters, as stylishly flattering as possible, a removable hood and removable fake fur, good/strong zippers with a two-way opening (top and bottom), not too short in length for warmth purposes, good pockets, and above all it is well-made. I cannot say it has been tested as this is currently summer and we are enduring a heatwave but I can say that I can tell it will keep me as warm as any good coat possibly can; I have no doubts. RDS Down makes me happy although I would have purchased a synthetically warm coat if only I could find one that is completely environmentally friendly with my other preferences. I did a great deal of research, ordered and returned a different coat, and this one is perfect for my needs and the price was excellent. This is a great purchase. BTW, I am 5'1", 105 ilbs., and the small is great for me. I feel comfortable in this coat with room to add layers and it is flattering enough for the warmth one can enjoy. Additionally, the coat has a touch of shapeliness to feel feminine and there are no Michelin puffs just good wind, snow, cold, and rain repellent. Try it. I don't believe you will regret it.

This coat is great! Well-made, very warm, breathable, with so many nice details. I researched and bought (& returned) 6 coats before finding this beauty. It fits true to size. I'm 5'3", 140-145 lbs & curvy. The medium fits perfectly. The coat hits mid-thigh length. Favorite features: adjustable hood, zip-off hood fur, high & soft wind proof collar (no more cold cheeks and nose), 2-way, sturdy zipper, & deep, flannel-lined pockets. It's breathable and not too heavy. Very warm. The buttons are easy to fasten and not annoying like I thought they'd be. I got the navy, which is a matte dark blue. I wish the coat came in more (and more vibrant) colors and also had combo top and side entry pockets. But in all, I love this coat! I'm so happy with this purchase!

My favorite coat got ruined, so I needed another one quickly. It was the end of winter and there weren't many choices other than closeouts and rejects. When I saw this one, I was thrilled. When I received it, I was over the moon! It fits perfectly, is comfortable, cozy, and pretty. I got the dusty rose colored one, and the color of the coat is MUCH nicer than the picture. I didn't love the fake fur on the hood, but it detaches, so problem solved. I love it so much I think I will order another one in a different color just for variety. I highly recommend it!

Feels like I am wearing a blanket, very warm jacket with lots of versatility. White is BRIGHT white. Only con is it’s not quite as fitted as I’d like, kinda felt like a Michelin man walking around so aesthetics weren’t as great but was very comfortable!

Got this for a trip to Scotland where it is 30-40 degrees out, Being from Florida thats a drastic change! It did a great job and kept me warm throughout my trip! It has two breast pockets for your hands which I loved, the regular pockets are large and held everything i needed to bring with me. There is also a small zippered pocket inside that was nice! the two way zipper was great for allowing me to sit down without being uncomfortable! Great value for the price and did the job!

This jacket is amazing! It is made from high-quality materials, it fits like a charm. It is nice and warm. I have not tesyed the waterprooof or windproof function as we are still heading into winter. But I would definitely recommend it.
