Exactly what I needed. The adhesive is strong and sticks well. I needed something to secure my drawers without having to drill any holes. Although be careful, if you forget your combination, you will have to remove the two pieces and adhesive seems VERY strog, most likely causing damage when removing. These work well but could use either stronger adhesive or an additional method of attachement, like screw holes. I have drilled them and screwed them into the cabinet for rentals, as guests like to try to get into those cabinets.

I ordered 2 sets and I was able to successfully install 3 out of 4. The first one I went to change the passcode and was able to do so. I clipped the lock end back into the keypad side and the new passcode I inputted wouldn’t unlock it. Neither would the original passcode. Other than that, this product is amazing! Super sticky and easy to use. If you pull the cord too tight when installing, it’s difficult to get it to push back in. I wasn’t able to turn the numbers for the passcode while holding the button so I had to use the key. I like that these fridge/cabinet locks use a number lock rather than a key. Those keys would get lost so fast. Anyway, it’s easy to install- just make sure you wipe and dry the area where it’s going to stick and make sure there’s enough distance between the cable side and number lock side to prevent it from being too tight where you can’t get it locked. It works well to keep the little kids out of the fridge and my very diabetic elderly mother who just can’t help her self when it comes to overnight snacking. It’s really helped her control her snacking and to bring her blood sugar levels closer to normal, in addition to exercising her more. Drastic yes, and it’s not the hero we want but the hero we need.
