We got two ad hung them in our bay window of a timber frame home. These hammock chairs are comfortable and beautiful! Some reviewers said it was more of a lounger than a chair. We find that the hammock chair will do either. It all depends on how you get in. If you tuck more of it under you then you sit up. If you stretch it out you can recline. And on top of that they are beautiful! Flippin fantastic! We love that we can hang and look at the view out the window or spin the hammock chair and be part of the conversation turned into the house. Purchased this for my wife as a second anniversary gift (cotton... or close enough). It's definitely well made and sturdy, as it's able to hold my 6'1" 220lb fat body. I can stretch out in it without my feet going over the edge, and never feel as if any sudden movements will have me on the floor. It will smell a bit funky for a few days, but so do most internationally made items sold on Amazon. It also sheds "string dust" (best I can describe it) the first few times you use it, so be prepared to vacuum under and around it if you hang it indoors. My only criticism relates to the material of the net. I worked from home last week exclusively from the net (as we call it). With my laptop on my outstretched legs, I noticed the net rubbed thin skin around my elbows in a rather uncomfortable way. I solved this by wearing a shirt with long sleeves and then later by laying a blanket in the net first. In other words, the material the net is made from is far from soft. If you're looking to hang this thing indoors, make sure you attach it to a cross beam. I used the Vtete Hammocks Chair Spring Swivel Hook Hanging Kit - Heavy Duty Stainless Steel 500 LB Capacity Ultimate Hammock Bed Hardware hanging kit, and as I mentioned before, it supports my fat body without issue. ... show more

This is a great hammock for the price! Myself and my boyfriend are each able to fit in it comfortably, with or without feet extended (separately--we wouldn't trust the hammock or stand we got to hold us both at the same time) It's very comfortable and a great spot to just lounge. I definitely feel the hammock is secure, and like that the back can either be pulled up around your head or left as a little neck support. You can't lay all the way back like in a proper hammock, but you can recline very nicely, and I'd still be able to nap in it. It's very cradling and soothing. The only thing I don't like is that the material has a heavy canvas scent so it smells kind of like a tent. But I'm hoping that also means it'll hold up outdoors, and we can always spray it down with something better smelling. If you're on the fence, I'd go for this one--I looked at hammocks twice as expensive and don't regret this choice. ... show more
