It was well designed for the money. I had to guess a little on the bracket locations but it wasn't too difficult. All the parts were there and they were well packed with no damage. No real heavy duty materials but I did't expect that for the price. I am pleased.

After 20 years of Dogs, Dust and Daily rotation/sliding, the old vertical blinds were stiff, dirty, dog bit, taped, missing slats... and the handle broke when I stood up too fast while cleaning! Got on Amazon to find a replacement. ONce I eliminated all the CUSTOM SIZE special order blinds, and those over $100, this looked like the best deal. I was ordering, and noted a "used very good condition" set for $20 less. Ordered, Received, mounted on the previous brackets; the set had ONE broken louver slot, taped it and hung it; the Thing Around The Top (Valence) was split on 2 edges, but moved the clips and it hung ok. Looks good. Darkens the room when closed. Surprised by how easy it 'slides' open/closed, and also easy to rotate; I guess I had gotten used to the old one being worn out, but this one is MUCH easier to use. If only the Little Dude (beagle/terrier mix) would stop trying to open them at night with his teeth..... ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These replaced an old set that I had when I bought my house. Used same screw holes, leveled everything perfectly, installation went great. Then, as I went to open them, I noticed it catching and completely stopping unless I used force to get them to open properly. For the angles, they don't angle properly either without force as well. Mechanisms inside aren't working correctly. Video is included which may explain that better. ... show more

I ordered these blinds for my new home and I really like how they came out. They really do darker the room up when they are closed. The price was great as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the valance was damaged when I received it and I can't seem to find a replacement for just that part as everything else was in great shape. Other than that I would recommend this product. Really compliments the room! ... show more

As other people have mentioned, this blind is not up to huge wear and tear from pets or children who mess up things! Having read that in reviews I asked a handyman friend to install mine, because these things can be easy to break/make loose just in installing- it took him 10 minutes and looks and works great. ... show more

Replaced 20 year old embossed vertical blinds that have held up beautifully. I just changed my decor and they no longer matched. I received just about what I expected. Cheap, flimsy, and thin. They do slide easy. But the blinds themselves are very thin. Feels like you can fold them. They just don't seem like they will hold up very long. But for $90 I'll keep them. They are doing what they are intended to do, cover a patio door and they look half decent. Of you want higher quality, pay more$$. ... show more
