Okay cordless bamboo blinds- I see you. SUCH an upgrade from corded miniblinds. I can't believe these look custom and for a fraction of the cost. Easy to lift up and down. Easy to install. Took me like 15 minutes to put up. They are definitely not black out (although you could probably DIY some fabric on the back) so they do let some light in.     • Love but with a few cons

I have these in Pine in 3 sizes. Two over a large window in a guest room (rarely used), one over a window in main room and over a back French door (these two are used every day). These were exactly what I was looking for: the perfect color, good price, so easy to pull up/down, lightweight, good for direct sun blocking, and the install was fairly easy compared to another brand in the master. Unlike the other brand (which is a little clunky looking and hard to pull down and very hard to install), these are not privacy blinds. You can basically see right in at night, but not out lol. Initially these are shorter than listed but for the most part they relax out (guest room ones have not, I assume because they never get used). And mostly they go up/down evenly. My biggest con with these though - I’ve had to replace the one over the door twice for the same reason: the elastic cord pulling one side up/down has frayed and snapped. I don’t understand what’s happening aside from possible friction against the poor design choice of a metal ring that it feeds through. This one is used the same amount as the window one with the only notable difference being that the door is opened/closed rather than a stationary window. Also the last replacement had holes in the wood slats (maybe from small knots falling out?). Overall I recommend but not for a crazy high price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I installed these myself and I’m no Bob Villa! These look great. I love that they let light in. I’m not sure how see through they are at night though. I added the video to show the light filtering. I believe I ordered these in “Fox.” I wasn’t sure of the color, but when they arrived they looked great. I have these in a few of my rooms. Love the look of the shade. Its definitely light filtering. Quality seems decent. Could have easily paid twice the amount for the same quality elsewhere. We measured and it fits snug but thats fine with us. The reason for 4 stars is due to it missing hardware. No worries, my husband Macgyvered it. Easy peasy to install. ... show more

These blinds are beautifully made,heavy duty and easy to install! I had similar blinds in this room and I liked the look but they had cords to raise and lower them and I didn't like that. Also the previous blinds had no valance so I had a curtain valance at the top of the window which made the room darker and made the ceiling look lower. These have a built in flap that hangs over the top to hide the rod and mechanics of the blind. I ordered them in black, which isn't truly black but very, very dark. The color varies with these because its a natural material. And they will change color over time. I like that about them, though. Also no cord! Just pull down and stop where you want the blind to stay. They took a bit of time to get here (2-3 weeks) but it was totally worth the wait! If I had another room to put these in I would, I love them that much! ... show more

These look nice and are easy to install, the roll up and down works great. These seem like nice quality for the price as well. Unfortunately they block out almost ZERO light, so throw up some blackout curtains to accompany these if you are using them in your bedroom, or be prepared to wake up at dawn.
