These blinds worked well as an upgrade in a 1995 Bigfoot pickup camper. It was very easy to shorten the lengths of the blinds to produce an exact fit to the camper windows.

The instructions state to install the brackets with wall anchors but they are not provided. The brackets, screws etc. come in a flimsy box that was crushed when I opened it, and some screws were loose in the box. If you are mounting this on drywall, my advice is to get DuoPoint #4-6 anchors to assure the brackets are strongly attached; you will be pulling down on the bottom of the shade often. Haven't had these very long, but seem to be decent blinds. The slats close tightly and are easy to raise and lower and stay in place once set. I was ready to order a few others when it occurred to me that in order to raise and lower, I must have access to the bottom of the blind, so won't work on those windows behind furniture. ... show more

These are not blackout blinds. When twisted closed,they don't squeeze together enough,so there is light between every single blind. Also the Holes that the blinds String Through are HUGE HOLES. You can see clearly through them. No Privacy confidence in a Bathroom. Big disappointment... --UPDATE -- the Strings for all the blinds are Super Loose & Way To Big for holding the blinds in position. When opened,only top half of blinds open,while the bottom half constantly Flop Shut! So not only are the Holes to big in the slats,all the strings are ridiculously loose. We needed to replace sun-filtering blinds of a similar style that had gotten brittle and were snapping off. These blinds fit the bill. Mounting was relatively easy (using a screw gun). Note that all the different brands seem to have different mounting hardware with their own quirks, so we couldn’t use the old blinds’ mounts.
