Make sure you work from the top so that any dust that falls while cleaning blinds will be removed as you make your way to the lowest level. I live in a new camper. As time goes by, the paper shades on the windows are no good. I bought a small one for a smaller window and loved it. So now I just needed a 48" one. I just installed it. WHAT'S THE INSTALLATION UPGRADE? They put sticky tape on the metal brackets so it's Much easier to install. It helped me so much with leveling and putting up. Only 2 hands needed not 3. NOW... to put the blinds up or down, just pull the shade up or down. NO STRINGS involved. AND because I've eliminated the paper shades, I can see through to the outside as much or little as I like. because it's metal, It's easy to clean. It comes with the "tie down" pieces for each side of the blinds. I now will be ordering 3 more for the rest of my place, The price is more reasonable than other companies and the sizing is easy to find for a camper or small irregular windows. The website is designed for the layman not the interior designer that does the extra preceise measuring that's too complicated to understand. I bought the blinds here thru Amazon and was kinda disappointed when they came missing the hardware to hang them. Inside the box on the paperwork it said to call AND email Chicology about this issue, I tried calling many times but got no where. I emailed them and filled out the form from their website and eventually they did email me back and send me the hardware I needed at no charge. They claim it’s Amazons fault there is no hardware…but who knows! Could have been a return with no hardware…anyhow the blinds are hung and they look great! ... show more

Great except for two things: 1. Should have included drywall anchors and made the price 10 cents higher 2. Blind adjuster hooks interfere with blinds Good price for what you get! The 2" blinds were 3 times as expensive. I luckily had drywall anchors in my spares bin. Waaaaaay better than the old string-style blinds. Eventually the return spring will weaken and I'll cry but for now I'm happy ... show more

The instructions that came with these are clear and they were easy to install since I have a drill. Had I not had a drill these and any other blinds would be hard to install. They seem to stay clean and work well after a few months use. The only qualm, and its a small one, is that they bow and little and sag on the outside, in other words, the bottom of blinds where I grab to pull these down sags towards to the edges, even though, I always pull them down from the middle. I had to look closely to notice the sagging and its not even to really affect my satisfaction with the product. ... show more

Ordered 2 blinds to see if we liked. Those 2 were great! I ordered 12 more,some of these needed 3 brackets p/blind. That's when the trouble started! So far we still love the blinds. However, they need better brackets! If the brackers are good-they go up easy like showed! We ended up with a total of 4 bad brackets & 1 packet of missing hardwear. They did send replacements/with 1 extra. Which I thought was nice! We did have to wait 10-12 days for those. So my advice is to check out the brackets before you take down your old blinds! If the top of the bracket is warped or bent down-your blinds will be crooked! ... show more
