OneFit LX features the Chicco-exclusive LeverLock Self-Tensioning Lock System for forward-facing car seat installation. OneFit LX easily transitions from a rear-facing harness baby car seat (5–40 lbs) to forward-facing toddler car seat (26.5–65 lbs) to booster car seat (40–100 lbs) as your child grows. With its slim car seat design and space-saving features, this all-in-one car seat takes up less space in the backseat without compromising comfort. The two CupFolders conveniently fold in when not in use to maximize space. OneFit LX provides extra rear-facing legroom, 8 recline positions and 10 headrest positions for optimal child fit and comfort as they grow. For rear-facing car seat installation, OneFit LX includes premium LATCH connectors and a SuperCinch force multiplying tightener. RideRight bubble levels work with the 8-position ReclineSure leveling system to provide improved vehicle fit. For forward-facing car seat installation, OneFit LX features the innovative LeverLock Self-Tensioning Lock System. LeverLock provides a secure, stable forward-facing vehicle seat belt install with minimal effort. Easily access the LeverLock compartment by unsnapping the seat pad. Open and rotate the LeverLock handle to release the handle. Route, buckle and thread the vehicle seat belt using the easy-access belt guides, then close the handle. ClearTex products meet federal car safety flammability standards without flame retardant chemical treatments and are GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions, contributing to healthier air quality around your child. We’ve had such a great experience with Chicco! The installation was incredibly easy and straightforward, which made a huge difference, especially as a busy parent who doesn’t want to second guess if everything is set up correctly. We had a similar seat for the older 2 kids and had a great experience with them, so we bought this updated version for the youngest kid. Consumer report also rated this seat well, plus it was one of the lower priced seats, made it more enticing for us. The quality is very good and the latch installation process takes 2 minutes. The only gripe I had was that you can't adjust the tilt once you install it rear-facing. Not a huge deal as once you adjust it, you'll just leave it. This seat came with extra padding for newborn and younger babies, and the there are numerous belt adjustments you can make as the baby grows. It is, however, a heavy seat, but you typically don't need to move it once it's installed. We also like the versatility that it turns into a front facing booster once the baby is ready for it, and we won't need to buy another booster seat. ... show more

This car seat is very comfortable for my baby, he enjoys car rides much more now that he has more room and sits a little higher than the infant car seat. It has plenty of room for growth. The straps are easy to adjust. The car seat is easy to install. This is a excellent car seat. I would highly recommend it. It has several different setting to recline the car seat. The sides are very high up giving a lot of extra security. The harness is instructed very good with a fast release to make it tighter or looser. It also adjust as the child grows. It’s on the pricy side but it is well worth the money for all the safety. I really have been enjoying this car seat. We've had it for many months now and it's been great. The straps that protect the baby's neck are much better than my old car seat's and it's got a nice protector by the crotch clasp, which is highly appreciated. It makes it a bit annoying to buckle, but it's worth the cushion for the little one - especially on long car rides. It feels protective and the collapsible drink holders make a world of difference on the occasion that an adult needs to ride in the back between the car seats. All-in-all, it's been great. The only thing I don't like is how dirty the foot spot gets. Because the foot holder is so high, it's nearly impossible to get the kid into the seat without rubbing her dirty shoes on the foot section. That said, the way the seat is shaped makes it feel safer to me, so I'm perfectly willing to deal with that. ... show more
