LOVE this seat! Our daughter has always been in the 90th percentile for height and I love that this option gives us more time in the rear-facing position. She is very comfortable and this seat is SO easy to install. Cleaning is a breeze. I love that I can just zip the cover right off and wash it and zip it back on. The EASIEST car seat I have every used. We bought one for grandma's car and my brother has one for his two littles as well. We cannot say enough great things about this seat. Only downside is it is HEAVY but since we don't carry it around on a regular basis, this is not a concern. There is a cup holder that can attach on either side of the seat and it is in a great location that my daughter can easily reach on her own. My little peanut finally outgrew his infant seat so we purchased another brand's convertible carseat. The other brand was supposed to be rear facing to 50 or 60 lbs but had no leg room for my incredibly tiny son who isn't on the charts. We were concerned about safety if G-d forbid we were in an accident since his legs were extended with no legroom so we returned that seat and ordered this one. This seat appealed to me for many reasons, extended rear facing, safety features, ease of installation, FAA approved, light(ish) weight and easy cleaning (because toddlers....). When it arrived I watched a quick installation video on YouTube (and 2x speed) and amazingly had it installed in less than 2 minutes! I was especially impressed with how clear and easy installation was, because as a parent safety is most important and i like knowing the carseat is properly installed. I love that this seat offers multiple reclining levels for both front and rear facing allowing you to get the perfect fit for your little one. It is well padded and extremely comfortable for my little guy, offers him plenty of legroom (unlike the last seat we purchased) and is nice and breathable (we live in a warm climate). The quality of this seat is well worth the money! I have this seat for both of my children and this one is definitely the best quality, most comfortable for them, and easy to use. Adjusting the straps, head piece, and position is easy once you know how to do so which instructions are very clear on. As a first time mom, installing the car seat seems overwhelming but the instructions made the process easy and now I can install this thing or switch vehicles in minutes with accuracy and comfort knowing my child will be safe in the vehicle. Compared to other brands, you really can’t beat the quality this seat/brand gives. I will only buy Chicco brand from now on. Cup holders are a nice add on and easy to take on and off. They can be moved to either side of the seat and my toddler has no problem reaching his cup. ... show more

This is my second one and I absolutely love it! I had to buy a second one since my baby is now too big for the key fit. The leg extension is so important. I plan to keep them rear facing as long as I can and these are UNBELIEVABLY COMFORTABLE. It's like a luxury seat for sure safe comfortable, and durable. They sleep so comfortably in them on our drives. I reccomend 1000000%. My husband had no issues installing in our truck. The color and fabric are a great design and so easy to clean. You just sip it off can vaccum all the crevices and pop it into the washer. All the positions for them to grow in are amazing as well. They can use these for a while and I trust this brand a lot. I have SO MANY of this brands products and prefer them over others for their consistent ease of use/assembly, durability, safety, easy to clean and maintain, comfort, and sleek design. This is our 4th Chicco NextFit Zip Convertible Car Seat purchase for our two kids as we prefer to have 2 of them in multiple cars to avoid the hassle of moving them around for visits or pickups as they are very heavy. This model was the Consumer Reports highest rated car seat in 2022 when we first needed one and it has remained there as the highest rated harnessed car seat ever since and you will see why if you make this purchase. We got this model when we outgrew the infant car seat (Chicco Key Fit 35. Please trust me, you NEED an infant seat and you can go read my review for that one) at about 1.5 years old. It has been a perfect fit for our growing child that will soon be 4 years old. The straps adjust easily for growth changes and the zip off cover makes keeping this thing clean an absolute breeze compared to some less awesome competitors seats. This thing weighs a ton which if you’re not moving in and out of a car is exactly what you want it to be as it speaks to the sturdiness of this beast. I don’t want my kids in some flimsy lightweight chair so I love the hefty weight and size of this one. We initially used this as a rear facing seat which was extremely easy to install and set at a perfect recline depending on what we needed at the time. When it’s time to flip it around and sit up straight it’s a one and done job where your only adjustments going forward will be moving the straps to higher levels as they grow. Once your boss is old enough to control a cup by themselves, there are cup holders on the sides that may or may not be used to hold a cup BUT they will also be used to hide snacks, sticks, toys, boogers or other cool or completely gross items for you to only look for when your car smells like rotten fruit.
