We tried both Uppababy and Nuna for our firstborn and he screamed every car ride. For our second, we went with this one and she is totally content! The quality is amazing. Padding is wonderful. It’s no heavier than maturity of car seats on the current market. It’s totally gorgeous and easily competes with the higher end brands we’ve had previously. My only complaint is the Chicco orange 😂 it’s just on certain mechanical components but still visible and not my favorite. I bought this one because it had the best tests for safety but i was also very happy with the easy use to get in and out & loved having the built in cover! Has made such a difference with my second kid compared to first living in cold MN. Only thing wrong is id say its a bit heavy!

Super easy to install the base in the backseat. It takes about 10 seconds to remove the base from the backseat when installed with the latch system. Overall very easy to adjust and know it is installed properly with the built in tilt levels on the base. It feels of good quality and has a bit of weight to it. Overall I like the design of this seat as I can leave the base installed in my car and purchase a second base for my wife’s car and the seat just snaps into place no matter what car we use. I also find it rather convenient to have the fold up stroller which the seat also snaps onto quickly and easily when on the go. ... show more

This car seat has been great. I specifically wanted one without flame retardants and some of the others are outrageously expensive. This one is a reasonable price, great quality, easy to install, relatively light weight, and I love that it has an option to be strapped in without the base which will be helpful for grandparents (who live very close by) and not needing to purchase 2 or 3 bases. This Chicco car seat is such an important purchase for our new grandbaby. We’ve had Chico car seats before in the past and have always loved them. We tried another brand this time before the baby was born and just did not feel like the quality was the same as this Chicco. So we returned that car seat and purchased this one and we are very happy with it. It is a little more expensive than the other brands, but in our opinion, it’s worth it for the quality and safety. I have used Chicco for 2 of my kids (they are 8 years apart), and WOW this is an upgrade from the last Chicco carseat. The color is beautiful, the fabric is soft, and the cushion is nice, so baby seems pretty comfortable. I use this with the Chicco Cady. Install was super easy in the car. My 8 year old at 14 year old have no issues getting the seat in and out of our Tesla Model 3. We are all tall (14 year old is 5'10" and sits in the seat in front of the carseat), and there is still leg room in the front seat. ... show more
