This gives incredible volume. It also makes my hair feel cleaner for longer. My blowout lasts a full two days. I have very oily hair and normally have to wash it daily. If I use this product I only have to wash it every other day unless I get too sweaty during a workout. But even moderate workouts still leave my hair feeling relatively clean. If I had to choose one product for my hair this would be it. The bottle is lasting over a month for me and it’s very affordable. I can feel that it coats my hair but it doesn’t weigh it down. It gives it volume and texture without being sticky or gross feeling. I can run my hands through my hair. All that being said the first time I used it I followed the directions and used it from root to tip. My hair came out feeling very dry, tangly and gross feeling. The next time I tried it I only used it on my roots and it quickly became my favorite product. It’s also on sale a lot during a time when everyone is increasing their profits and charging more, this seller is not. I appreciate that as this is a luxury and if the budget gets tight it these types of things that get cut first. Overall it does exactly what it says it does. It gives hair volume and texture, extends the life of a blowout and allows me to wash my hair less frequently. I’ve never found a product that reduced wash days. My hair is always greasy on the second day. This is the only product I’ve ever used that had all of these benefits. It also doesn’t stink to high heaven like many brand name products. It has a mild smell but not something I even notice when I’m using it. If you try it don’t follow the instructions. It’s much too drying to be put on the ends of hair. Sprints your roots only. CHI Volumizer is a top product! It works beautifully, not sticky, and the price is terrific. Spray it on towel-dried hair, rub it through with fingers, and then dry hair as usual. CHI creates the best volume of any that I've used. More recently, I'd been using a very 'good,' name-brand volumizer, that was HALF the quantity than CHI, and more than TWICE the price. Great product. It is great for use with blow drying. I have thin hair and it helps! The scent is ok. Not bad. My hair stays thick all day. The cost is good for working as it should and doesnt weigh my hair down.

works perfectly. i have pretty long hair for a dude, and whenever i dry it after a shower its always very flat. i spray this all around my hair with an emphasis on the front before i dry my hair, and im super pleased with the result, there's definitely texture and volume and it makes my layers more noticeable too. very affordable and effective, definitely using this for the rest of my life. There's no grease at all. It doesn't weigh down my hair but makes it poofy. And its super easy to use, and also smells pretty good ngl ... show more

Honestly, I wish I would have loved this more. For reference, I have a lot of hair and it is thick. I have a problem with volume on the top of my head, so I thought this would be a great, quick, easy fix to having voluminous hair all day! And while it does seem to give my hair a little extra volume, I find that it does not hold even if I set it "in position" until my hair dries. Also, I find the smell to be a little unpleasant. I find myself reaching for hairspray and mousse to help hold my hair in place and I still find myself teasing my hair to get the volume I want (which is not a lot). Overall, I would not recommend this product for people with thicker hair. ... show more
