I RARELY write reviews.... Very, very rare! I had been researching curlers for a week, this one was very highly rated. My connondrum was the 1" or 1.25". My hair grabs a curl relatively easy, and I didn't want them too tight so went with the 1.25". Was SO excited to have this item on same day delivery. When Amazon Santa arrived, ran downstairs to check this baby out. Packaging is fine, didn't bother to straighten my naturally wavy/frizzy hair first. I just wanted to TRY this thing out. Turned it on, relatively easy. I have to note that I'm SUPER impressed that you are able to lock your time and heat settings. All too often when styling, I hit the plus or minus button for heat settings and we all know, that can be a really bad thing if you turn the heat up too high. Grabbed a brush to get the tangles out, and went to work. Again, I did not read the instructions or watch any videos. Just played around with it and THIS is the result. Super easy to use! I want to practice a little more so I can easily control the direction of the curl, and honestly, I haven't checked the back to see if I butchered that. But WOW! WOW, WOW, WOW! I have long, thick hair and this is my new baby! No more wrapping my hair around a wand, taking forever and getting waves that are gone in an hour. I have so much volume and body, it's crazy! If you're thinking about this item, GET IT! I'm absolutely in love. I'm tempted to wash my hair, dry it straight (it's still frissy as hell when I get done with that) and take my time in mastering this thing. I absolutely love it. You will too!

Though it looks offputting and etc., it's really not. It actually is really easy to use and it makes these nice curls. The only negative I have to say is that it's bulky and kinda heavy, so depending on the hair length, it can only grab and curl so much.

Very nice to idea… it’s a learning curve but probably works amazing on natural hair. I used it on a wig and it would need to be reset every other curl. That fine but quicker to use a regular curler. If using a wig you need a wig stand to make it more manageable. But I would but again.

I never write reviews, but this thing is AMAZING. I have stick straight fine hair and NEVER curl it because it's too much work and the curls fall out quickly. But, I have an event coming up and wanted to figure out something to do with my hair. Scrolling through Amazon for a curling iron, I found this and decided to give it a shot. My goal was big soft curls and that's what I got. It took me 10 minutes to curl my entire head of hair which lands a couple inches below my shoulders. It does all the work for you! I hopped on a couple video meetings after and had compliments galore. I also lightly sprayed my damp hair with It's a 10 Miracle Blow Dry Volumizer before using this amazing tool. Once dry, I used this bad boy, let the curls cool, and then sprayed with a light hairspray. BUY THIS!!!

My hair looks amazing when I use this. But getting to that point is a war between my self and this curling wand. If you grab too much hair it screams at you. If your hair is damp it screams at you. If you get too little hair it just slides off. Takes a lot of practice to get it right. I usually curse it at least 4 or 5 times every time I do my hair and I am not one who normally curses. If you have time and patience, you will love it and the results. If you are in a hurry. Forget about it.

It actually works and is easy for our 9yr old daughter to use. The major take away is you have to work with small portions of hair, especially the longer the hair. It will beep if you have too much hair, if this happens it's super easy to release your hair and start again. Your hair will not get tangled or stuck in the curler, don't be afraid of that! It takes longer than using a regular curling iron but I would recommend for a safer burn resistant tool, primarily for younger users.

I ordered the Spin & Curl really believing it wouldn't work and curl my straight hair. In addition, I was really intimidated since I haven't done anything to my long hair (other than color) and 9 out of 10 times throw it back in a ponytail. I was amazed, within an hour I had mastered the Spin & Curl and had a head full of curls. Even with the high temperatures not once did I feel the heat nor burnt my hair or fingers. Although many might look at the price $$$, I swear it was so well worth it and I deserved to treat myself. Six days out of the week, my hair is loosely curled and never in a ponytail!!!!!!!

I've been using the 1 inch version of this for about two years after my physical therapist recommended it, and I love the ease of use but wanted a looser curl. I tried a beachwaver, but didn't like the results. I decided to order this one, and it works the same as the 1" barrel chi, but I can't fit as much hair in as I could with the smaller barrel, so I have to curl smaller pieces of hair which kinda defeats the purpose of having a larger curler. They still come out super cute and I prefer using these over any other type of curling iron. I highly recommend them to anyone who has mobility issues or has problems working a curling iron!
