    • Cute LITTLE coloring book.
I should have paid attention to the measurements in the description...these are really tiny. However, after coloring a few pictures, I'm not entirely unhappy with that. They're just detailed enough to be fun. The full-sized versions are too much to do in one sitting (at least for me), but this size is good for a short coloring session. The subtraction of a star is because after you color them (I use markers), the pages curl up. Also, you need an index card or something to stick between the pages while you color--the pages are semi-transparent. Once you color them, they become fully transparent - you could actually hang them in a window and the light would shine through. The pages are a decent thickness - the feel is similar to the rough side of waxed paper or parchment paper. I'll probably buy a few more when I finish with this batch. ... show more

I like this one quite a bit just because it's got lots of tiny spaces to find if you want to have the symmetry right. Worth the time it takes to do them!

This book is very nice but way to small for my Senior's Activity Class so I will have to send it back I got 3 and will have to return all of them but if you don't mind small then you will love it!

**NOTE** This is vellum like paper. NOT normal coloring paper! Look up the word. It is a see through paper like a wax type feel. But thick. It helps create the stained glass effect, once colored and put near a light source. These books are tiny notebook sized! Like fit in your purse sized. Dover does however, have regular sized versions of books like these. Pocket sized and easy to take with you! PLEASE READ/LOOK AT SIZE BEFORE PURCHASING! These are mini sized books. The pic ecen shows how small compared to a person's hand. They are made with special vellum like paper. This is to make the pages look like stained glass, once colored in. I LOVE these stained glass books! The size makes it easy to travel with. I love the type of paper used. Dover is my favorite brand when it comes to adult coloring books. (Check out their creative haven series) I will be ordering more! They also have full sized stained glass books! Just make sure to read the description! :) ... show more

    • Fun and Easy to Do
These are short and sweet little projects that aren't complicated or overly time-consuming. The best part is that you kinda get a prize when you have finished a picture... you have a little stained glass piece to tack to a window or give to a friend. I bought 5 of these little books for the assisted living facility where my mother lives. The residents loved them. Note that they should be colored with colored markers, because pencils don't let the light through. To attach them to windows, they used tape or tacky putty that won't leave any residue.
