I love this conditioner it works well for my fine low porosity hair. It's lightweight but hydrating and doesn't irritate my skin. This was really fresh, and a great deal. My hair feels soft again, and is nice and shiny! It has a nice light scent, not perfumey or cloying, it's slightly sweet almost fruit like. It doesn't weigh my hair down or make it greasy. I’ve been using CHI shampoo for years, and it continues to be my favorite. I have extremely fine, thin, color-treated hair that’s very fragile, and while I’m not sure it volumizes more than other brands, my hair definitely feels healthier. I no longer have to wash it every day, and I only need conditioner once or twice a week, which keeps my hair from getting weighed down. It also smells amazing. Unlike the many half-used bottles in my “shampoo & conditioner bone yard,” this is the one shampoo I use to the very last drop. After looking and reviewing conditioners for what felt like an eternity, I purchased this one... Finding the right conditioner is basically like flushing money down the toilet and we all do it, throwing caution to the wind and purchasing the next best thing, in hopes it works..and it fails... Well, this one met the mark and deserves some recognition...a lot more than it gets I think.. It smells like light bubblegum, but it doesn't linger, nor will it affect your breathing if you're scent sensitive.. I kinda dig the light scent. Anyhow, It comes in a pretty small bottle, but, it's worth every penny.. We have fine, wavy hair that gets weighed down by most conditioners that actually work, which is gross and looks greasy... This conditioner works, feels like heaven on your fine/thin hair and does not leave it heavy, at all.. All you scent sensitive, allergic/allergy humans out there that cannot handle the awful fragrances that other companies are putting in their products, have no worries on this one.. This conditioner is okay overall, but not as impressive as the claims on the bottle. It does add some volume and lightness, especially at the roots, but the effect is more subtle than dramatic. On days when my hair is already behaving, it gives a bit of lift and movement; on flatter or more humid days, it doesn’t really stop my hair from falling back toward its usual shape. In terms of conditioning, it does a decent job detangling and leaving hair reasonably smooth, but it’s not very rich or nourishing. If your hair is fine to normal, it’s probably enough, but anyone with drier ends or damage will likely want a deeper conditioner or mask on top. I also noticed that if I used a bit too much, my hair felt lightly coated and lost some of that airy feeling, so it takes a bit of trial and error to find the right amount. The scent is pleasant but pretty standard salon-fruity, and it lingers a bit after blow-drying without being overpowering. Rinsing is easy and it doesn’t seem to leave residue on the scalp, which is a plus. The sulfate-free formula is nice in theory, but I didn’t notice any major difference in overall hair health compared to other mid-range conditioners. Packaging is fine and the texture is a typical creamy consistency — not runny, not super thick. It comes out of the bottle easily, but toward the end you may have to do the usual squeeze-and-shake routine to get the last bit. For the price, it’s serviceable, just not something that stands out as a must-have. Overall, it’s a functional, everyday option if you want a light conditioner that won’t weigh hair down too much.
