I figured it was time to invest in a clothing steamer because the depression made it hard to get out my clothing iron, get my ironing board, and iron clothes for an hour. I have a CHI clothing iron that I love so I looked for a steamer of theirs. It’s as close to a professional dry cleaner steamer you’ll get. It heats up 100% quicker than my iron does. I use it on the max setting, a quick pass and a shirt is done in less than 5 minutes. The reservoir is pretty small, but it’s so easy to refill that I don’t even mind. While I like this way better than the ones you have to add salt to, and it does a nice job of getting the wrinkles out, it is HEAVY. Also, it is importance to note, there is a way to press the button and allow it to run continuously on its own. I (mistakenly) thought I had to press the steam button the whole time to keep it going - which made operating it much more difficult at word angles. So what a relief it was to stumble upon the continuous feature! 🤣 ... show more

Could not wait to review this steamer. I'm impressed with it's size and powerful steam. The retractable cord is a great feature that most other steamers don't have. No wrapping cord around product.

The water tank is driving me crazy. Perhaps I have large hands, but for the water tank to so easily push out while I'm gripping the handle looks to be a design flaw. There's no button to eject the tank. Just enough force - and it doesn't take much - and the tank comes out. For a critical part of the steamer to so easily come out during use, it gets old fast. Luckily the tank has a little seal so when it does come out, it doesn't splash all over the clothes I'm steaming. The frustration with the tank is not worth the high cost of the steamer. ... show more

i need you to understand this is not just a steamer. this is a man who shows up prepared. because why is it that i’ve been out here tolerating clothes that look like they’ve been through something, when apparently the solution is this dark and steamy knight who can get hot and ready in under 30 seconds and immediately handle business. no hesitation. no warm-up period where you’re like… are we doing this or not. no mixed signals. plug him in and suddenly there is steam. there is action. there is commitment. i took a dress that had been sitting in the dryer long enough to develop trust issues and held this thing up to it, and the way those wrinkles disappeared… immediate compliance. no resistance. no “give me a minute”. just gone. i actually stood there for a second like. oh. so this is what consistency feels like. and the blast setting?? excuse me. i pressed that once and i fear i experienced too much power too quickly. that wrinkle didn’t just leave, it relocated. new life. new identity. probably happier now. nine fabric settings, which sounds like a lot until you realise it means you don’t have to think. he’s already thought about it. he’s already adjusted himself accordingly. you just show up and benefit. and the versatility… vertical steaming, horizontal ironing, dry ironing if you’re feeling ambitious. he adapts. he meets you where you are. growth. the water tank is big, so you’re not constantly stopping to refill mid-moment (which we all know ruins the experience). you get a solid uninterrupted session. continuity. respect. and the cord retracts at the push of a button, which i did not expect to be emotionally significant, but watching it smoothly pull itself back in like it has discipline and boundaries… i had to sit down. this is where things took a turn for me personally. because once you experience this level of efficiency, you start looking around your home differently. my curtains? suddenly i’m like… you could be better. a perfectly fine jumper? not anymore. we can improve you. i steamed a bag. for no reason. it wasn’t wrinkled. i just wanted to see what would happen. this is how it begins. i have become someone who does a quick steam “just in case”. just in case of what. no one knows. it also doesn’t spit or leak or create chaos. it is controlled. focused. emotionally available only in the sense that it gets the job done and leaves. which honestly? ideal. automatic shutoff is there for when you inevitably lie in bed later like “did i turn it off” and the answer is no, because he already handled it. of course he did. this cost around as much at 7 iced chai lattes, and was worth every last drop in my chaiconomy. if you’re new to my reviews, chai is currency, welcome. this time we’re having our chai steamy hot. ✨ tl;dr ✨ if your clothes are out here looking like emotional baggage, this steamy knight pulls up, gets hot immediately, and handles it properly. no waiting, no excuses, no wrinkles left behind. literally so easy it does the work for you. unsettling in its efficiency. i fear i’ve learned too much. ... show more
