Coat has a good weight to it, nice medium weather lining. Great for out and about. Comfortable and not too bulky to wear in car. I wouldn’t go skiing; and I wouldn’t shovel the drive without a sweater underneath. Large is my size and this has enough room to wear a sweater without being too tight, roomy but not too large if you don’t. Not sure I’d pay full price, 35% sale is good value; bought Blue at 65% discount?! Definitely works for me. It’s Royal Blue and dull soft denim type fabric with canvas texture, not smooth, not coated, no sheen like one of the pics. Fuzzy lining around body, sleeves are thinner and lightly lined but not fuzzy. Pockets are deep and useful. Great buttons. Looks sharp. Dumb pull cords … they’re supposed to function as tightening hood or waist, but waist is too high and they don’t stay. Simple leather looking clasp that is for decoration - too loose. Like the elastic sleeve to keep tight at wrist. Again button just looks good, there’s only one button so you can’t make it smaller. Really like the removable fuzzy hood with hidden zipper. Proper 2 snaps tightly and no gap. Coat has high button perfectly at chin height with lining and zipper doesn’t pinch. Really good value, well made. If you’re not picky about those couple little details will be a great cold-weather coat. Save yourself 1/2 and grab the blue one. ... show more

I like the fit of the coat and how soft the shirpa lining is. The zipper is appropriate size and strength for this type of coat. I did ad a zipper-pull to make it easier to operate. With this length of coat, a double ended zipper would have been nice. The coat is not as warm as I expected, but will still do well with another layer underneith in very cold weather. Only real shortcoming I can give is that the slash pockets on the side are very small; I can't get my entire hands in them for warmth. ... show more

It's a good salt maybe just a bad batch and to my knowledge this isn't the first time they've had bad batches. I'm on the fence about switching salts now I can't afford to gamble with a fully stocked tank!!
