Comfy sofa. It arrives in four boxes. The three base pieces of the sofa are quite hefty because they are made of wood metal and springs. After unpacking everything that was in those boxes, I was able to move the base pieces, on my own, up to the second floor. They are heavy but it was doable step by step. Assembly instructions are clear and it was pretty easy to put together. The cushions arrive vacuum sealed, I let them get re-puffy for about 24 hrs. before I had time to put the entire sofa together. I think this made a good difference, if you have the time I would give them time to re-puff before I sat on the sofa. I also unzipped the covers for this process. Because I purchased the cream color (it's called beige on the website but it is a very light cream) I use Scotchgard over the entire sofa. The reclining feature is almost silent. The leg portion goes up first then after it gets so high the back starts to recline. I'm still figuring things out to get the perfect position to sit at but I was able to find a nice position to take a nap on it as I get to know what works best. I'm 5'6 and as you can see from one of the pictures my feet hang just over at the ankles when reclined. The chenille fabric has pattern on it that is pleasing to the eye. The sofa is a bit on the firm side but I would expect that from a brand new piece of furniture. The buttons on each end of the sofa are easy to use to recline and bring back up into sitting position. The quality of this couch is terrible. Parts don’t seem to fit together properly. The zippers started breaking within the first few months. We have only had this couch since July and it has not held together well at all. For almost $1000 it is a definite waste of money.

Love this couch! Definitely two people assembly but totally worth it. I’m so happy with the look and comfort. It is really good quality and the electric reclining mode glides smoothly. Great purchase!

One of the reasons to purchase this couch was that the description said not to worry about scratches from pets. It seemed to imply that the fabric was sturdy and scratch proof but that’s not the case. My cats pulled out several strings from the fabric in the matter of few hours after it was put together. I had to cover it in a hurry while waiting for the order of scratch proof plastic sheets to arrive. Too bad since this couch is very nice and comfortable otherwise.Also, when I contacted the seller about only two boxes out of three arrived, they responded to us right away in a professional manner. This company advertises this Pallome Comfy Cloud Sofa...it is safe to say that this a complete inaccurate statement. There is no where on the Amazon website that shows this sofa with the metal posts of the headrest. The headrest does not fit all the way down into the holes that hold the headrest. The metal posts shows which looks horrible and cheap. In the photos there isn't one photo that show the metal posts. If you remove the headrest, all six holes with metal grommets show. The reclining motor is so slow which is inconvenient. The seat cushions were vacuum packed, I left them out for three days to return to normal size. After three days of sitting on the cushions they were so flat and uncomfortable. The email conversation that took place between myself and Katrina at Adventure House was unsuccessful in finding a resolution. Adventure House refuses to pay for return shipping and therefore not standing behind their product. I was given a estimate to pay for the return shipping of almost $600. Which is almost the same price of the sofa. I also paid Amazon a$149.00 delivery fee. All in for me would be close to $1400.00 for a sofa I can't use. I would appreciate Amazon helping in finding a resolution to this very costly purchase.
