Gotta say I bought this on a whim hoping for the best. turns out I used this on our entire camping trip. I made breakfast eggs, scrapple and potatoes, taco meat for lunch was a breeze, still have not made a pizza but that is next. two things to note, there is no temperature control, and the handle gets hot. I just received the pizza cooker today and tried it out. There is no on off button as the ad stated . You simply plug it in and wait for the green light to turn on. It was a little disappointing. There wasn’t a simple pizza cookbook with it. There was a digital cookbook that I downloaded and read through, but not one of the recipes illustrated a simple pizza crust. That should’ve been part of the original purchase of this cooker. I went online and downloaded a recipe book and it did show a decent recipe for pizza dough. Everything I read said that using the parchment circles was needed for easy cleaning. I did order 30 of them. Again, I only gave it four stars because of the lack of a recipe, but I may change that to five once I use it. I did fry an egg and it worked fine. Good luck if you purchase one. ... show more

This is the second pizza cooker that I’ve purchased (different brand before), and I have to say that both work amazingly well. The first one that I got, you are able to change the temp on it from low, medium to high. This one is one temp only, which is fine for me. I would buy it again. FYI, it takes between 16 and 22 minutes, depending on size thickness of pizza, for it to cook. I like a crunchier crust, so I’ll often unplug it when it’s done, (that’s how you turn it on and off), and let it sit a few minutes more. It stays hot for a while after. ... show more

I bought this expecting quality and durability by the name of the product. Those two features did not disappoint; however, it does not have a timer nor a thermostat! Thus, the lower score. You plug it in, it's on! You unplug and it is off! Very, very basic electrical cooker! I returned item.

Works like a charm. I use it to cook pizzas in a kitchen that has no oven. They turn out just right. I use it at home to not bother turning on the oven. How did I get along without it? I do not know.
