I removed two stars because this model is not suitable for women with large busts. I ordered size L, but it is too big for me on the shoulders and too small in the chest, there are folds on the back. Another model from this brand fits better.

I'm not a chef and I really don't even cook a lot anymore. But this shirt sure caught my eye! I love the way it's made. It really is a shirt that you can work in and feel comfortable. The mesh in the back gives it a bit of extra stretch. I get overheated super easily, so I'm always looking for clothes that will help keep me cool. I ordered 3XL, my usual size, and it fits well. I love that it snaps. My hands are very arthritic and buttons are problematic for me. The material is nice and it does help me to stay cooler as I go about my daily work. I checked it over carefully and found no flaws. When I first got it, I tried it on, of course. Then, to the washing machine. I followed the washing instructions and it came out well. The shirt fits me well, runs true to size but feels a little awkward across the upper bust; it is only slightly uncomfortable when I raise my arms. The fabric feels like good quality and the dye did not run when I washed it. I used a cool iron to remove wrinkles. I like how the front panels have princess seams and the snaps down the front opening are set in the right locations for keeping the shirt closed and laying flat against my curvy figure. This Chef Works Women's Durham Snap Work Shirt could have been a very nice addition to my spouse's wardrobe. In theory, its true to size and has a nice fit. However, something funky is happening in the arms and shoulders where the underarm seam is much too low. As a result, its very difficult to lift one's arms in this shirt. Any attempt to do so pulls the whole shirt up and exposes the belly button while bunching up in the shoulders. This is a very strange cut. I guess it might work for someone who literally works at a computer/counter all day, but if you will need to do literally anything where you lift your arms - like stretch, then its just a really bad fit. ... show more

I am impressed with this top. It is true to size. Not only is it a great fit, but the mesh fabric allows it to breathe, which is essential in hot kitchens. The polyester cotton blend washes nicely. I put it in the dryer on delicate for two minutes to ensure it would air dry without wrinkling. The price point is affordable to buy a second. Most importantly, the construction of this garment allows for movement. As far as length goes, it is not a skimpy fit. It covers the hips. It easily layers with a tank top underneath. This review is for Chef Works Women's Durham Snap Work Shirt (Medium, Military Green). Tags say: made in Egypt, body 65% polyester 35% cotton / mesh 100% polyester. This is a well made work shirt. It is a hybrid garment, with woven material on the front for a professional appearance and stretchy medium weight knit mesh material on the back for breathability, movement, and comfort. The snaps on the front make it easy to get on and off, yet they are secure. The size medium fits true to size and there are slits at the sides for better fit. There is extra room on front above bustline. The shirt does look a bit "polyester-like" and looks like service industry wear, thus may not be suitable for everyday or business wear, depending on your preferences.
