You can't ask for better. It's got a large surface area, built durably, has the ability to fold and has good weight. In my opinion priced low for how well it's made. I purchased this just to take pizzas out of the oven so it's perfect for me. I would not purchase if you're want to use this to launch pizzas. The handle is too short to get the flick needed to use it as a launch peel, I'd only buy this if you use a wood peel to launch and need a metal peel to remove pizzas.

I gave this five stars because it works nicely and appears to be well made. I do have to say that it is much heavier than I expected and a bit heavy for me to use but that's because I'm older with some arthritis in my hands. It's also a tad difficult to slide that metal piece that connects the handle; but again, it's probably my hands that are the issue. It has to be a tight fit or it would wiggle in use. Overall it's a nice, sturdy product and I love that it folds to store. So much better than trying to remove a hot pizza with two little spatulas which was my old way of removing a pizza before I got this.

Made of stainless steel, which I trust more then alumi. It is very sturdy and durable. Folding handle is not flimsy as I thought. So at least on non-professional kitchen this is very nice and handful tool. BTW pizza is great also.

I build pizzas and insert into oven on a wooden peel, then use a metal peel for turning in oven and removing pizzas. This one does a nice job, and the foldable, offset handle makes storage convenient. I'd actually prefer a slightly smaller version for turning and removal, but this one works well enough.

I have been searching for an affordable pizza peel, well-made and large enough to hold a decent sized pizza. This peel appears to be well-constructed, it is a heavy stainless steel peel with a nice folding handle. It is large enough to hold a large pizza, unlike the 12" peels that seem to predominate the market. My only minor criticism is that, like some other reviewers have pointed out, one of the edges is not quite smooth. I could buy some emery cloth to smooth the edge, but I am of the belief that a new product should not need to be worked on at home, so I ordered a replacement which I hope will have smoother edges. The size, construction, and price make this a very good buy. Update: The replacement peel is perfect, I have been using it often for my homemade pizzas and it is a joy to use. Get one.

Works as it should. I chose this one because of the size and it was one of the few that claimed to be dishwasher safe. Just make sure you push the clip (that locks the handle) all the way into place, so that your pizza doesn't end up on the floor!
