    • Use a sock.
After my shoelace ripped from shifting the gear lever, I purchased this product and it worked a few months until the stitching that held the Velcro came undone. Another rider told me to "use a sock" it works just as well.

So I bit the bullet after reading all the other reviews, since purchasing I’ve worn it twice and being extra careful with placing my foot down because of reading other reviews. I rode about 10 mins to a gas station only to get there and it’s hanging off my foot. Adjusted once per ride just for it to happen again which was unsafe practice for me so I took it off mid ride. Now it gets the job done for the most part because of the strap that goes around the shoe laces; the bottom will slide off no matter what, unless you wear boots that are too thick to even shift in the first place. ... show more

Item is adequat and does the job however the underside of the toe guard left black marks on my tennis shoe, I wiped most of it off but some still showing. Using a cloth fabric would offer better protection without leaving any marks.

    • This is a non-versatile product for riding a motorcycle.
I purchased this item because my riding boots lack a steel toe. With a day with a lot of riding miles, my foot becomes sore. I purchased this product to address this issue. However, the connecting strap covers over the soul of the shoe. As a result, the product loosens around the foot when walking. Now perhaps the intention of this product is use it only during riding and taking it off when walking? However, this is not practical. I would not recommend this for riders who also walking a lot when out on the motorcycle. ... show more
