    • The design needs some improvement.
The price is right. That's all... Unfortunately it doesn't hold its position well. It has a velcro strap to shoe string but it's too long, so it starts sliding forward. If you don't mind repositioning it so often, then you should get it.

Item is adequat and does the job however the underside of the toe guard left black marks on my tennis shoe, I wiped most of it off but some still showing. Using a cloth fabric would offer better protection without leaving any marks.

    • Works but needs improvement
Maybe for $6.99 I am asking too much, but literally the Velcro strap failed after 5 weeks. The rubber pad works great and holding up well, but the Velcro strap, the one that wraps around you shoe, needs some improvement. First with larger shoes, the strap is a little short and you only get about an inch of Velcro engagement. The problem with this is if you walk on carpet with the boot protector on the exposed portion of the Velcro sticks to the carpet. Also the upper Velcro which attaches to the laces started to wear out, after 5 weeks it only marginally holds to itself. ... show more

    • Worth it if you don’t have dedicated riding boots
They saved my new boots and new sneakers from getting that black mark so it was definitely worth the purchase, after you beat them up you won’t need it, but I say it was worth it.

This thing started off as a good idea. Felt weird walking with the thick Velcro strap under my boot. Normal riding and walking on rest stops the strap was really wearing out and getting torn. The rubber pad kept sliding around on top of my boot and needed frequent re-positioning. After 2 good rides, I threw this thing away. I’m surprised the other reviews were so high.
