Upgraded from a 2.5L rogue. This is only 2L but has loads of storage. The phone pouch is really good, especially if you use Bluetooth headphones. The vest fits great and it does not bounce around as you bike challenging trails.

I had a rogue camelbak before this. Mainly use for music festivals and the addition of front zipper pocket helps a ton in storing my phone and be able to wear non-zipper shorts. Additionally, the strap is big and comfortable compared to the old rogue which had a slim straps and they used a plastic stick liner that at one time was poking out and rubbed against my shoulder causing skin burns. The straps on the chase are big and comfortable and airy. Worn it for hours in the heat and the straps still keep me cool. Bags also large and has front stretchable storage where i can put a jacket. 1 downside is that the bladder hook is quite small making it hard to unhook and rehook the bladder back on. ... show more

Small, light weight but with enough room to carry umbrella, rain coat/parka, keys, snacks etc. What sold me was the zippered pouch on the front of the left strap...holds my iPhone 12 in an Otter Box perfectly and provides easy access for the many times you will need to reference your phone in the parks now a days. I bought this cause i’ve been using the regular Chase for my 2 hour rides , and it’s my favorite pack.The fit is excellent , phone storage , tool kit storage , extra tube , and snacks fit perfectly,,,, Chase 8 just doesn’t have the same excellent built quality , it’s not the same , i wish it had 2 zipper compartments in the front and the shoulder straps were a bit more solid ... show more
