This is a nice coat at a wonderfully affordable price. Looks great as a casual coat or a dressier coat. I love the straight cut--which is more versatile than a fitted style. It lays nicely on my shoulders and drapes properly. The buttons are sewn on well, and there is an extra button in the pockets. This coat will NOT suffice for a Midwest winter, but it's perfect for fall and warmer winter days. There is a little bit of wool in it--hopefully that will mean it won't shed. But it doesn't seem like it will anyway. The color I ordered is off. I ordered "black", but as you can see in the picture, the color is actually charcoal gray. I'll keep it--but color accuracy in the listing might be a little off for some colors. The coat runs small, I am 5'3", 112lbs and I ordinarily wear a size small. I ordered a medium based on reviews and am glad I did. The medium fit is perfect. Because the price is so good and the quality solid, I am going back to order the camel-colored one as well. I purchased this in green, size medium. I’m 5’3”, 145 lbs. The fit is perfect, the color is beautiful, and the coat is very flattering. It’s a very good looking coat. It’s very well made structurally, and the fabric is warm and comfortable. It has good size pockets and a nice lining. It would easily be a 5 star item if it weren’t for the pilling. I’ve owned it for a month, and have worn it almost daily for the past two weeks. It’s definitely pilling under the arms, and is starting to pill on the front of the coat (especially where my seat belt crosses the coat) and around the wrist area. The fabric is heavy enough that I suspect it will hold up reasonably well to a fabric shaver, but I also suspect I’ll be shaving it frequently, which is a big disappointment. ... show more
