Bought this to replace another amazon purchased overcoat. I'm in a dress shirt and tie type job and I like the look this coat has heading to and from the office in the cold months. It's decently warm. I get complimented on its style often. I went this one because the zipper, button locations, extra elements just give it a bit a steampunk look in my mind. But even if others didn't think so, what they do think is, wow, that's nice looking. And you cannot beat the price. Just price a coat like this in a big box store. I'm a Large and the large fit true. I would say, if you were a bulky sweaters or layers person, you might size up one. I typically have a white t, dress shirt, and vneck sweater on when I where this. It's a little more snug with my layers, but not enough that I wish I went XL. So you make the call. The one drawback, pocket depth- the two hand pockets are short - just enough to get your hand out of the cold. I keep glove liners in them permanently, so I can pop those on as a thin glove for driving/walking/etc. I.e., don't count on these pockets to do much if you're a pocket person. ... show more

This turned out a little larger than expected but fit over dress suit well. It will look more stylish if worn a little tighter. I ordered the size up one to make sure it would fit over clothes well. Normal size would have worked perfectly. Still looked sharp in NYC downtown Manhattan though...

I was looking for this style jacket and read all the reviews several different sellers of the style jacket and was willing to take the chance at this price. I want to say that not only did I get it in 11 days from China, which is way earlier than Amazon told me it would be here but it’s actually a very nice jacket. I put it on and went to my wife’s work and immediately, and I mean immediately got comments on how nice the jacket looked. Yes, there are one or two fake pockets, but all the ones that you normally use are available to you. The inner lining is removable, one zipper on each side, and three buttons across the top. First, it's a terrible design. Second, the buttons go through tiny elastic hoops, which are almost impossible to loop without a tool. Third, two of three buttons fell off when I tried it on. Fourth, fit was boxy and awkward. This jacket is meant to be more stylish than a winter jacket. I bought an XL and the sit was great, especially in the arm length. Finally after 5 different purchases, I found the right size! This is perfect medium to heavy weight. Good thick material, perfect for sub zero temps. Color isn't a deep of a black I want but still ok. Color under direct sunlight appears to be the darkest shade of grey or lightest shade of black almost boarder line to faded black. Front pockets seem to sit slightly too high for an Asian person 5'7" in height. Could be alittle lowered since there is sufficient space to match. Draw strings for the hood is just too long and annoying, I just ripped it out since the hood sits just righ when used. The zippers are abit hard to use and the buttons have strings sticking out. They could have finished off sewing with the thread tucked in side the coat or tied off..I would assume the buttons will be the first to listen up and get lost.. Over all I gave this a 4 start rating cause it was difficult to fine the perfect size. As well as the pockets sitting too high, zipper difficult to use and thread used for the buttons.
