I don't wear a ton of eyeliner these days (when you wear glasses, you can afford to do less to make your eyes stand out), but when I do, I want it to stay. As someone with warmer toned, fair skin, and green eyes, a chocolate brown color eyeliner has always suited me best, so I was excited to try this one from Charlotte Tilbury. I've used products from this line in the past, but never an eyeliner. Color me impressed! Right out of the package, this eyeliner glided easily, ight along my lid, creating the perfect line thickness that I was looking for. I got a perfect warm, milk chocolate brown color that I really love and works perfectly with my skin tone. The color has also held up well for the past 8 hours. The attached photo was taken 8 hours after I initially applied the eyeliner. It still looks fresh! I think that's what impresses me the most. The skin on my eyelids tends to be fairly oily and often products will smudge or disappear entirely. This one holds up all day long. For those who like a much bolder eye or prefer a liquid style liner, you probably won't like this one. This is soft and subtle and perfect for my 40-something, bare face look. I plan to keep using this as my primary eyeliner and will likely buy it again in the future.

The media could not be loaded. I’m a mom on the go, over 40, and if I manage to wear any makeup these days, it’s usually my trusty (but tired) black eyeliner—the same look I rocked through my 20s and 30s. I love this brand and decided it was time for a little glow-up without going full glam, so I gave this eyeliner a try. The color is gorgeous—a rich brown that’s soft, subtle, and still makes my eyes pop without feeling like I’m trying too hard. I have brown/hazel eyes, but I honestly think it would look beautiful on any eye color. It glides on smoothly, is totally buildable (my video shows just one layer), and has that “effortless but put together” vibe that works perfectly for everyday errands. Eyeliner is hard with droopy eyelids too! I also tested how well it lasts by swiping with a baby wipe (mom life, right?) and wow—it definitely doesn’t just slide off. If anything, it reassures me that this eyeliner will hold up all day, even through school pickups, grocery runs, and toddler chaos. Ignore my makeup-free face and wild brows in the video—it’s the liner that deserves the spotlight here. If you’re looking for an easy, age-appropriate way to switch up your routine, this is a winner.

I should probably preface this by saying that Charlotte Tilbury is one of my two all-time favourites when it comes to cosmetics, and their Pillow Talk line is perfection. I'm not usually a huge fan of eyeliner pencils because I've had issues in the past with fading and smudging, but I'm delighted to report that this one does neither. This is a product that stays where you put it until you remove it! It is also buildable: everything from a subtle hint of colour along the lash line to a dramatic flick, and the colour is a gorgeous dark sienna (at least on my ghost-white Irish skin). It blends out nicely, as well, and works with a standard sharpener. Waterproof and humidity proof (outstanding for those of us living by the water!), the liner has remained perfect throughout the day and all through the evening without requiring any touch-ups. I could not be more impressed! Highly recommended!

So far I really like this eyeliner. Goes on smooth, no pulling of the skin and can initially blend well. Can build color to get more intensity. But then it stays put after initial application until I use makeup remover. Great for my aging eyes where color from my bottom lids was starting to be more prone to rubbing off on my upper lid. It doesn't melt off my face when I'm hot (warm climate state). Nice color too. Reddish brown or mauve brown. Price is a bit high but typical for name brands but I'm sure you can wait for a sale or promotion at some of the well known makeup stores. I would buy this again or try another color. Symbol on package says it lasts 24 months. I have never used this brand before and was happy to discover something that works well for me.

I chose to test #Charlotte Tilbury’s Eyeliner Pencil through the #AmazonVine Program. This is a creamy soft eyeliner pencil in “pillow talk - smoky berry brown.” It is indeed a smoky berry brown or light mahogany color and it is beautiful! However, I find the pillow talk description rather funny as there is no way I want to wear eyeliner to bed and have it smear on my pillow, lol. This glides on very easily and can build into a very pretty color yet it stays there for hours and doesn’t ‘fall’ down your face. The price is for high-quality products but this indeed matches that price point. I included one picture before I added mascara to make it more obvious. I’m obsessed with this Charlotte Tilbury eyeliner! The color is perfect—dark enough to define my eyes but softer than black, so it works for both day and night looks. It goes on super smooth without tugging and is really easy to blend if I want a softer, smudged vibe. What I love most is how well it lasts.
