Color: Love Is The Drug - cool pink
The media could not be loaded. Charlotte Tilbury's Love Is The Drug Cheek To Chic Powder Blush says it's a cool pink, but (to me) it's more of a cool pink center wrapped in a lot of warm, peachy-golden highlight. It's a beautiful, long wearing, buildable formula that makes skin look glowy, but it is quite sparkly. Because the blush core is on the smaller side, I actually prefer using the two shades separately rather than fully swirling them together, otherwise the peach-gold highlight can overpower the pink pretty quickly. I do wish the center shade had a little more real estate (and that the ratio leaned more blush than sparkle), but when applied with intention, it creates a really flattering, cheerful, radiant look. I often use this compact as a highlight while using a different blush entirely, and it works great with other products as well. So it wasn't exactly what I was originally hoping for, but I still love this overall.

Color: Love Is The Drug - cool pink
I have been using the Cheek to Chick blush shade "Love is the Drug" for about 4 years. So when I ordered it earlier this month and opened the new one to find very different shades from what I've been using all this time, I assumed there had been a manufacturing error where a different shade been packaged and labeled as Love is the Drug. I then ordered it from another major retailer, and discovered that no, Charlotte Tilbury has just changed what the two blush shades being packaged as "Love is the Drug" are and kept the same name and product photos. See the photo for the difference. The new colors are much lighter and more peach toned.

I really love this blush. I have light skin with neutral to warm undertones, and this gives me a soft, natural flush that brightens my whole face. The dual-color pan makes it easy to control the intensity. I apply it with a blush brush after powdering, tapping it from my cheekbone up toward my temple. I don’t use any cream blush underneath because the pigment shows up beautifully on its own. My all-time favorite blush is NARS Orgasm, but this one is a close second. It doesn’t have the gold shimmer that NARS has, which makes it perfect for a more natural look.
