After being really sick for the last month I finally got a chance to put some makeup on. I put two pumps on the back of my hand so I could apply it from there. I dabbed my finger onto the foundation and then onto my cheek. It was SO thick and did not want to blend at all! I started to panic because I had a glob of what felt like paste or glue. I tried adding some primer to the spot, hoping that it would help make it blend. It didn’t help at all! I realized that my only choice was to use makeup remover and take it off. It barely took any of it off. I tried some soap and water to no avail. I then went back to the makeup remover. It took me literally scrubbing my face with the remover for no less than 20 minutes to finally get it off of my face and the back of my hand. It is so bad for your skin to have to scrub like that, especially at my age! It’s going into the trash! I will never use this brand again!! ... show more

I wanted to love both of these foundations from Charlotte Tilbury, but unfortunately, neither of them turned out to be the right fit for my skin. Since they are at opposite ends of the makeup spectrum, here is my honest comparison of how they performed. Pros: This lives up to its name in terms of coverage. It is a very thick formula that provides a flawless, complete full coverage. It successfully hides all imperfections and, once it sets, it does not budge at all, making it fantastic for hot, sweaty days. Cons / Why it didn't work for me: Unfortunately, this formula emphasized my fine lines and wrinkles much more than other foundations I use. Because it is so thick, it ultimately felt too heavy on my skin, and I can't wear it without it settling into lines. Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint (Light Coverage) Pros: On the complete opposite side, this tint is extremely lightweight. It’s great for quick, "no-makeup makeup" days when you just want a breath of skin. Cons / Why it didn't work for me: It offers very minimal coverage. If you have oily skin, you might not like this because it has a lot of shine. In fact, it is so glowing that I sometimes use it as a natural highlighter rather than an all-over base. The Verdict Both products genuinely do what they claim to do, but they are designed for very specific skin types and preferences. The Airbrush Foundation is too heavy and settling for my lines, while the Unreal Skin Tint is too shiny and sheer for my daily base needs. Beautiful way to cover acne scars before applying makeup without looking too shiny or thick. It seems to be high quality makeup giving a satin finish because it covers well and doesn’t cake. I’m glad I learned about it.
