    • Nice for the price
One month update: One of the provided batteries is not charging properly - it always show red (charging), and even left overnight it never turns blue (charged) like its partner does. When pulled out, the battery is hot to the touch and I'm worried it's going to damage the hand controller, so one down already. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- This unit looks very nice in pure white, and the colored leds are cool even though they are purely decorative. The insturctions didn't state that the little magnets that have to be installed in the batteries (see their video) are inserted into the base unit, we thought they were missing, they are just stored in the base. Pay attention to the orientation of the battery magnets when inserting the batteries into the controllers, make sure they align with the little contacts on the cover. Otherwise its fine, my only beef is that the main unit has to be physically plugged in every time to charge, it doesn't use the magnetic ports on the bottom of the meta, whereas the hand controllers are simply laid in the cradle and they charge magnetically. Overall, for the price its a decent unit, we'll see how the batteries hold up. ... show more

    • Don't Use with Elite Strap
Attractive, lightweight charger that works great without headstrap. However when an Elite Strap is added, the weight of the resting headset tends to eventually bend the plastic charging pedestal off it's connection to the base, cutting of the power to the headset. Not sure this happens with other headstraps, but it does with the Elite Strap. There are work arounds to strengthen the stability of the pedestal and it's connection to the base, but due it's unpredictable nature, i can't really recommend the charger. ... show more

Out of the three LED charging indicators, only one (the right controller) works. The headset does charging but there's no light to show whether or not the battery is full, and I'm not 100% sure the left controller is charging at all (have to run down my battery first). I ordered a replacement, so I'll update the review once the new one comes, but so far I'm not impressed. ... show more

I mainly got this for the rechargeable batteries since the quest 3 controllers go through batteries fairly quick. The batteries seem to be standard USB-c AA lithium ion batteries that are pretty standard so if they go bad you can buy replacements. I don't really need to charge the headset since I always have it plugged into the pc with a charging link cable so haven't tested that feature. ... show more

I didn't know how badly I needed a charging station for my Meta headset...until I had one. My headset was charging just fine without a dock, and I was using standard batteries in my controllers. Sure, they were just placed on the floor out of the way, so I thought that would be fine. However, after a time I wanted to have a nicer display and to know my headset was ready to go at a moments' notice. The ZVTE Charging dock is simply fantastic. The headset rests on the cradle, even with a heavy added battery. The rechargeable batteries are perfect for the controllers. THe LED lighing makes this dock really stand out.     • Missed one thing to be 5 star
The stand functions fine. The included rechargeable batteries and cover are slick. However, they should have included a magnetic tip for the quest 3 and the cable to attach to it magnetically. This would have made placing and removing the headset and absolute breeze
