Great product, works with my daughters laptop. If you get an error message that says this charger may power your laptop but will not charge the battery. Ignore it, leave it plugged in for 24 hours and your battery should program it self to the charger.

Bought this for a Dell Inspiron P58F. There was no "exquisite packaging" -- it was not as pictured, flimsy and ripped up, although the cord inside seemed undamaged. The Velcro cord strap was also not as nice as shown in the photo but will serve its function. The important part for me was that the connector pin fit this model of laptop well, so we'll keep it. This is a 65-watt charger and our original Dell P58F was a 45-watt. That might cause confusion for some people, but the seller does list it as "45 65 watt" and it won't hurt the laptop to use a 65-watt charger instead. ... show more

This charger works great. It's nearly as good as the OEM charger that I got for my Dell. Would recommend. It's been going strong for at least 3 months.
