The water tank is completely separate from the concentrate tank, it only mixes when you're applying your chemical. M.O.E. is designed around two tanks – a 15-gallon water tank and a 1.33-gallon concentrate tank. The pump easily connects to your ATV/UTV/lawn tractor battery. The included lockable poly shut-off and wand provide versatile, adjustable spray on the go. A simple mix valve control allows you to adjust the concentrate from 1 to 15 ounces per-gallon. Its quick connect feature is an added benefit that makes changing the concentrate tanks efficient. Additional concentrate tanks are available and sold separately. Right of the bat missing parts and they replaced. The tank has plastic shavings from the factory and never worked right. Had to fix myself. 2yrs later I still fight to run it and the mixer part never worked from the factory. Now the 13gal plastic tank has a crack in it and is no longer useable. Very disappointed cause I thought Chaplin was a name brand .... Single parent money down the drain :(

Year 3 update. More issues. The flat seals for the spray nozzles have degraded and nozzles now drip. Called Chapin for the kit I was told I needed and was quoted $54. I paid $320 for the whole setup new. This is turning into more trouble than it was worth. Please if you value your sanity stick with a standard tank sprayer. Don't bother with this M.O.E garbage. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Year 2 Update Although a nice sprayer I wouldn't buy this again. The pump sits slightly above the concentrate tank. This means the siphon that pulls from the concentrate tank has difficulty with any liquid that has a higher viscosity than water. The nozzles on the spray bar do not put out their rated flow. Blue nozzles indicate 2.2gpm which should empty the 15 gallon tank in less than 8 minutes. This is not the case. I can run it for 30 minutes before it empties the tank. As a home user, before buying this think of what you spray. A fertilizer once or twice a year? A weed killer once or twice a year? If so then 4 or 5 or 6 uses a year do not warrant the additional cleaning and setup required of the concentrate tank. To be honest I have only used the concentrate tank last year. This year I went back to just mixing items in the tank. Way less to mess with. I probably would have been better with just a normal tank sprayer. ------------------------------------------ May 2020 This is a nice sprayer with sturdy construction although if you are spraying product at a rate of less than 1oz/gal you'll need to do some math to figure out the correct amount of concentrate you'll need. UPS went to town on my box and the sprayer wand hose was missing. Chapin sent a new one no questions asked. Two things i don't like 1. 12v power cord is short if using this with a ZTR. I had to extend mine so as to reach my battery and have the switch within reach. 2. The pump was not drawing anything from my concentrate tank. I took apart the mixing dial to find the concentrate feed hose kinked and disconnected. I was able to resolve that. I bought a second concentrate tank and the best thing i like is the ability to switch the product you are spraying without having to drain down and rinse a 15 gal tank.

Took a long time to get it. The box was pretty bangged up. But it appears that everything was there. Still trying to put it together, but that's not because it is hard. It's because I am a little anal about doing things right. I think over all this is a great sprayer. I looked atall the options and think this one makes themost sense. Mainly because you don't mix your chemicals in the tank of water and that's good because this means you could use it to just spray clean water and not worry. So I hope this helps anyone else in their decisions. Oh yes and the parts donlt look cheap like some things you get.

Chapin makes excellent yard care equipment. Their problem is they don’t put all of the parts in the box. Frustrating. I had to call with a list of missing items. I’m waiting impatiently for them to arrive so I can use this sprayer

It works. It's nice to be able to switch from round up to fruit tree spray quickly without worrying about emptying the whole tank and rinsing it out thoroughly so I don't kill my trees. After using it 4 times, I left the chemical tank with round up in it attached overnight. By the morning the entire chemical tank leaked into the water tank. So I filled the chemical tank with water so it would spray and used up the water in the tank. The mixing valve was now leaking. I took out the mixing valve and the issue is the hose going from the Chemical tank to the mixing valve. The tube just sticks into a hole in the bottom of the valve and it's really loose. There's no way this is going to seal. This should go to a hose barb with a hose clamp or something. This was designed to fail. I'm debating between cutting the tube shorter to get some fresh real-estate to work with and see if that gets a tighter fit that won't fall out, or putting some RTV on it and hope it seal it. I love the concept of this sprayer but can't recommend it with this simple design flaw.

Easy to assemble with a uniform spray pattern, great for lawns. I use a Polaris Ranger to pull this sprayer and I found I did need a longer power cord but everything else was great. Especially like the fact you can purchase extra concentrate tanks for easy storage and switching of different spray products.

this thing is absolute crap. assembly was impossible without drilling my own holes where factory put them In the wrong place. OK fine. fittings were very cheap and had to trim plastic off the boom fitting just to get it to go into the locking mechanism. Started it up only to discover the injector system was not working. took the very cheaply made valve apart to discover the hose under the dial was not assembled properly and was pinched so I trimmed a piece of that off to get it working. used the hose to spray weed killer under some bushes. if you are not on level ground, the injector will not pick up chemicals. clearly not well though out. decided to use the boom system to spray broadleaf killer. messed around with the damn thing for two hrs. took the valve apart that switches from boom to wand only to discover it was broken inside. sending this thing back. will never buy a product made by this company again.
