Description

Chapin condensed its quality ATV sprayer technology to a convenient 8 gallon size. The 97024 8-gallon 24V rechargeable battery ATV multi-purpose tank sprayer is small enough to carry around on a garden cart, ATV or UTV. Its chemical-resistant poly tank, seals and gaskets are designed to handle standard lawn and garden chemicals. The drain cap is tethered to the tank for easy emptying. The 15-feet reinforced PVC hose and 20-inch extension wand gives you farther reach. An in-tank filter is included. Battery charger included. Made in the USA with Chapin’s 1-year limited warranty.

Only had it a month but works well on 2.5. Acres of mixed land. I haul in a trailer behind a mower or my wagon. It is very powerful so practice first and make sure where the over spray will land. I did water on sand. The range is the bomb…long range spray for all clear land work. I would say I was getting a good 20 to 25 feet range. Note a hose extender may be needed. The media could not be loaded. As a former exterminator I bought this power spayer for pest control and weed control and works great for both. Very easy to assemble no leaks, pumps Very well and the battery life is long enough to complete 3600 square foot or more.

Solid 4+ on the sprayer. Has really good pressure, and a good starter rig for specialty types of spraying like repellents and fertilizer. Comes with two settings on the power, directly to battery and a rechargeable battery. While the battery was charging, I connected the power to a battery with a power converter. Ran really well. Just be careful to make sure what you connect it to is fully charged. I put the sprayer on my golf cart and connected the sprayer to the cart battery and was able to operate both for quite some time. While using its own battery, the sprayer did well and lasted over an hour. If you don't have a separate battery, the rechargeable battery is a great option. The switch between a hard wire to portable battery is super easy! Choose which wire you want from what power source and plug it in to the motor! The wand is could have been better quality, but it was still decent and very good for spot spray. Although the sprayer is a bit pricey, for larger properties, it is a good value and did a good job covering my 2 1/2-acre property. I would recommend this sprayer for treating larger properties instead of a typical 8,000 square foot lot, for weed control and to target specific areas for pest control. ... show more

I've spent years using a 2 gallon hand pump sprayer to attack crabgrass. It was a sweaty, painful process that would take all day necessitating multiple refills. Well, I've gotten smarter in my old age, and purchasing this product is proof! Now, I can drive around our property in our golf cart, and spray without leaving my seat. It's simply awesome. Only thing I would change is to loose the plastic spray nozzle and provide it with the brass assembly. Anticipating problems with plastic nozzle, I purchased the brass assembly at the same time, and I'm glad I did since it works flawlessly, and the plastic one included had stripped threads. Also, the battery lasts forever. I bought a spare, but ran through 8 gallons without any noticeable drain. ... show more
