"Agree with most people this is junk and the company does not respond when you contact customer support. The handle refused to turn after the first few times spreading and then all the seed spills out of the bottom. You dump the seed out and the handle turns, you ad seed it jams. Amazon should not be selling this product.

Better than throwing by hand, however, basic junk. Very difficult to get an even spread as the handle jams constantly. Hard to turn. Now my project is done- straight to trash. You get what you pay for. I think I spent more in wasted product that the thing cost.

You get what you pay for I guess is the lesson I learned with this product. The hand crank broke off after just two turns of the handle, the grass seed was apparently getting caught and preventing it from moving and a little pressure had it snap right off in my hands!

Clogs easily you need to open up the trap door all the way to keep the product flowing. It does have good adjutstability.
