I got a 2X which says 10-12 US on the label. I'm a pretty solid 12 and Large in most things, so I sized up two sizes based on reviews. I think an XL might have been better. The lace up area in the back is almost fully cinched in this XXL. It would look better and give me a little more room to tighten if I got the XL. The ladies look great, but it is a true corset so the boning is a little uncomfortable as expected. I'm short, so it pretty much covers my whole belly. The g string is cheap and a little uncomfortable, but it looks cute with the top if you are using it for lingerie. I got this for my halloween costume so I’m not looking for long wear or long lasting material, if you’re looking for that i suggest buying something of higher quality. That being said I do like it, it’s flattering and while the metal clasps are annoying to put on I figured it out and tightened it without any additional help. The sizing is confusing for me because while my waist is small my boobs are of the medium variety (38C) so they’re threatening to pop out but so far no slips. As with most items on Amazon, follow the size chart, it's there for a reason. I am 5'4" on a good day, and wear a 1X in most women's clothes, or a 16W. I ordered a 5X because it made sense according to the chart. It fit well with the usual corset adjustments, loosening laces, putting it on and closing it up, then the final lace tightening. Unlike those lucky women who are curvy and beautiful, I am lumpy and frumpy. Think apple rather than pear. Only the apple has gone mushy. Looking for a way to dress up the old apple, I took a deep breath and ordered this corset based on the reviews. Given the price and knowing it wasn't bone, I must admit that I wasn't expecting much but figured I wasn't throwing away that much money if it wasn't what I wanted. I was pleasantly surprised, it was quite lovely. The red color was bright but rich and not cheesy at all, and the pattern was pretty. I quietly ducked into the closet just to try it on. As it was my first corset ever, I struggled with it for a little while but applying a bit of common sense really went a long way. I was red-faced from my struggles but not entirely unhappy with the overall result. I took it off and tucked it in a drawer and forgot about it. A few weeks later, when I was at home on a vacation day and the hubby at work, I thought I'd give it another go. I had bought a garter belt and stockings at the same time as this corset, and along with a pair of heels I'd never worn before but were very sexy, I managed to get myself all dolled up for my first ever selfie shoot. I kid you not when I say that this corset made me feel so much better about myself because it smoothed out my trouble spots and made even my mushy apple body look amazing. I even felt so new and exciting that I sent a few of the pics to the unsuspecting husband at work. He LOVED it, and I felt wonderful. I've since purchased two more in other colors and styles, just waiting for the right time to wear them. I was super nervous ordering because last time I ordered was in 2017 when i was alot smaller but now I am 5'3 around 235-240 pounds but I am curvy as well I have big thighs hips and butt lol and a little tummy so I wanted something more slimming looking. I wanted red but blue shipped faster so I got blue and it was great on me my man loved it!!!! Made me feel really sexy and comfortable. I got a 4x and I had to adjust the string in the back to make it for but not much it was really easy. I recommend you get this of you're thinking about it.
