You know how you have to trust that when you buy a belt that says it fits waist size 38 that the belt will actually fit you when you get it home? Yeah, I don't mind trying them on in the store, but I can't trust that when I order via the web. So this belt...is adjustable in two ways that makes that dilemma go away. Being able to trim the end of the belt that feeds into the buckle AND having the ratchet system to make adjustments makes this the most trustworthy, functional, and custom fit belt I have ever owned. Not to mention: stylish. The other thing about this belt; it does away with the whole 'pull the belt back, locate a hole, then feed the pin through' method that causes so much wear and tear on the belt strap that it wears thin at the bend point. I'm going to revisit this after I've had this new belt I'm pretty confident that not having to bend the belt at the pin point is going to extend the life of this belt for a good while. I'll check in with you later about that. But for now, I'm going to recommend this belt to anyone looking for a new take on belts. 5 stars! ... show more

First things first, when traveling, DO NOT FOLD these belts, you MUST ROLL them up. These are my second and third belts that I have ordered. The Quality, convenience, and ease of use is what convinced me to order these two after living with my first belt for 1 year. My only negative is that the leather split after folding the belt, and packing it in a suitcase, as long as you ROLL the belt up, instead of FOLDING it, you won't have the same issue as I. Other than that I had a wonderful experience, and highly recommend these belts. They are very simple to use and the unique ratcheting system is foolproof when adjusting. The leather face is durable, and comes in different styles, and colors. I have many other seperate buckle, and leather belts that are higher quality, but I have found myself only using this one with all of my jeans, and dress slacks. ... show more

Today is 7/16/2026 I am updating my second updated review. My husband put his belt on 2 days ago just like he always does only that day was different in the fact that the lever jammed and you couldn't unlock it. We tried everything to get it off but there was no budging the ratchet it wouldn't unlock no matter what we did. I ended up having to cut the belt into in order to get him out of the belt. So, be aware that the belt may jam after awhile and you need heavy duty scissors to cut it off but it is a great belt that has lasted a long time. This is an updated review: I purchased these belts on November 28,2024. My husband has only worn the one belt. He has has to take the buckle off and cut off part of the belt due to it breaking after a year. Today, 5/24/26 he just showed me that the belt is now cracking and coming apart in several other places. All in all he really likes the ratchet belt he just wishes they were real leather so they would last and be more durable. When it’s time to replace the second one which he hasn’t broken out yet he will look for one that’s real leather for a working man’s belt. He says this is a church and retired man’s belt. But all in all it’s a good belt. ... show more
