So satisftied with the first order I ordered a second. Note if you're ordering a custom size be sure to include your window measurments. I initally misunderstood the guidence for what size I should order and was contacted by their excellent customer service and was suggested a change to better fit my window. It was perfect. If you're handy and have the tools (a drill is essential) they're easy to install and come with all needed hardware. Unlike roller shades I've had in the pUast these glide up and down easilly and quietly. They block out allmost all light. UPDATE: I did not know how they would deal with very warm days. I'm thrilled that inside even in direct sun they aren't extra warm, the reflective coating on the outside keeps out the heat.

Roller shade replacements for the Grand Design Imagine XLS 22MLE. Slow Roller shades kept rolling up due to broken springs. The manufacturer sent the required replacement parts based my description of the problem. Removed screws on the broken rollers. The manufacturer sent a detailed email on how to assemble and install. Took about 15 minutes to install two roller shades in the bedroom area. They work great. TIP: I was told to keep the roller shades up while traveling.

Nice shades. Good quality not too difficult to install. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the noches on top of the shades stick out a bit and aren’t so aesthetically pleasing. But other than that they are great shades.

Update #3 11/29/23: I bought my second shade of this size in the spring for a window in another room that gets direct sun and heat for several hours a day. We had a BRUTAL summer and the shade helped keep the sun and heat from heating up the room through that window. About a month ago I bought a third one for a window behind my couch that is on the opposite side of the house than my other two and it keeps out the blinding reflection of the sun from a large shed window in mid afternoon. I'm buying a 33" for another window when I finish with this update. To say I am a satisfied customer is an understatement. **Two years later...... This shade is still kicking butt. It still rolls up and down with ease and best of all, it DOES keep that brutal summer heat from coming through, full stop. I have another window I plan to buy a shade for before summer sets in. Another great thing about these is when I get a migraine I can pull this shade down and it blocks the light that does me no favors. I do end up tacking the sides down with a few pieces of painter's tape when the afternoon sun is super strong but other than that, it's a perfect shade for blocking 99.9% of the light. My shade is not 'in' a window as I live in a mobile home and our windows are flush with the walls so I don't have four sides of light glowing around the edges. I installed it several inches above the window and am able to roll it down a few inches past the bottom of the window and the width is a couple of inches coverage on either side. I put up a valence to cover the hardware that is not so attractive. Original review: I needed a window covering for the window above my kitchen sink and after 9 years I finally found The One. The afternoon summer sun on this window is brutal, even with Gila film on the glass and "room darkening" blinds. I was also using blackout curtains but they were a pain in the butt and fabric + heavily used kitchen sink = nothing good. This shade blocks out the sun for sure, and I'm hoping it will block or at least minimize the heat that comes through in the summer months. I guess I'll find out soon. The hardware is not attractive so I made a valance to hang over that part and it looks great. Now to replace every blind in my house with these is my next home improvement mission. Far less expensive and easier than replacing all the windows with more efficient ones.

I had order these about a year ago and loved them. So I bought more for another room of my house. The blinds in the back of the picture are from last year and the front are what I just ordered. Completely different “grey”. The grey they show on the description is a very dark grey that would match the old ones I had. The light grey isn’t even shown as an option but I guess it’s their new “grey”. Not happy. If I hadn’t already drilled holes for them I would have returned them.

Very good quality product. I could have use a wider width, but it was not available. Don't know why, but I ordered the shade anyways, because I have ordered from Changeshade several times in the past. Always happy with their product, and this time was the same. Would certainly buy again, but a little disappointed in lack of availability of size needed, which was 46" w. Had to settle for 45". So I made some adjustments on either side. A little "cut and paste" job, but it works. That aside, it's a quality product that functions as advertised in every way....except lack of size availabilty a disappointment.

I used these shades on a screened in patio that we have and i liked them because i could get the beige color, also i was really impressed (and thankful) at the ease of installation, they supplied all of the needed hardware for QUICK and EASY install. The mechanisms are smooth and they work really nicely. The one dis-like and it is trivial was the fact that the "instructions" that came with them had RUSSIAN writing on them, all of them, it really was not a factor because the pictures are really concise, so if you can read russian you'll love it, i don't so i thought it was amusing.

These shades are very nice and definitely great for blackout. IF you receive new ones and not someone else’s returns. I have ordered these for three rooms in our house, and twice have had to return ones that I received unpackaged, torn up and without hardware. As I write this I am waiting on the phone with Amazon while they try to figure out my refund on the last one I was forced to return. So yea if you don’t have to send them back 50 times they are good. But odds are you will have an issue to deal with.
