Me and my wife had been looking around at stores like At Home and other furniture places for kitchen stools and they were very expensive, even the metal ones. I found these stools with the small backing and couldn’t believe how inexpensive they were. After picking the colors we liked, I ordered, but was very skeptical on how durable or nice these would be. Upon delivery, I noticed the colors and the feel were exactly what I had wanted, and as I started to unpack, I realized that there wasn’t that much to assemble. I put together (4) in about 25 minutes. I then tested them and had my two kids (6 and 3 year old) climb and move around on them and they were nice, stable, and sturdy. They were super easy to put together and are super sturdy for my kids who are up and down on them all day! The only complaint they have is the back is awkward to lean back into. They look great in our space and are perfect for our island!

I was impressed with these stools for the value alone. They are very good quality, sleek looking and extremely affordable compared to other comparable products. They were very easy to assemble and you get four stools, four backrests, 16 screws and one allen wrench. All you have to do is attach the backrest (if you want it) with the four screws and you're done. The stools aren't wobbly and are pretty comfortable and the seats are nice too. The only issue with comfort is that the backrest plate is behind the tubular frame, so if you lean back you inevitably hit the tube before the backrest, so for us slouchers it makes you want to slouch more to avoid the poke in the back! Definite product improvement opportunity there. Since these will be outdoors, time will tell if they hold up to the elements (i.e. rust, and finish), but for now that they are new they look awesome. ... show more

I was looking for a counter height bar stool to compliment a table that I built. I found these ones and ordered them. They arrived quickly and were packaged extremely well. The base is a sturdy metal and the seats are a beautiful stained wood. They are so cute and just what I was looking for! I would have given them a 5, but you have to be careful putting them together. Although they are easy to put together, the screw package is misnumbered. In step one, the instructions say to use screw #2. Well, screw #2 is too long and it went right through the top of the seat when I tightened them!! After that happened, I noticed a paragraph on the instructions that said, "Make sure to use the short screw or it will go through the seat". Too late! I contacted the seller and they said they'd send me a replacement seat in 2-3 weeks. Apparently, the seats are backordered, most likely from others making the same mistake. Anyway, I am happy that the seller was willing to make it right. ... show more

These are exactly what I wanted and expected! I surprised myself with this buy! They're probably my favorite item from an Amazon order to date...and I've been a dedicated Prime Member for years! The metal frame isn't cheaply made. They're a nice weight and very sturdy. I feel like I'm winning with these! My hubby even thought they would be crap and was surprised when they arrived. We put the backs on, in 10 minutes, with the tool and bolts provided. You do need an extra pair of hands for that step, but it was pretty easy for us. They come with rubber feet already on them, too. So no digging into my floors! I really couldn't be more pleased with these. ... show more

This is the third product I've ordered from Changjie furniture, and I couldn't be happier. These still have a good industrial look, without being cheaply made. They are sturdy and have a finished look. They were easy to assemble and arrived early.
