Great chandelier at a good price. We purchased this chandelier after visiting the typical big box stores and not finding exactly what we were looking for. The package came in two boxes, on time and in good condition. Despite the robust packing we did have a broken piece and immediately contacted the seller, Gallery Lighting, who responded promptly to the email and committed to send a replacement part. In the end the incorrect replacement part was initially sent but was remedied with the correct part shortly after. Kudos to Gallery Lighting for standing behind their product and assuring that we were satisfied. As expected with a multi piece chandelier, assembly is not quick. Plan for a 2+ hours to get just the chandelier together. I would suggest you have something to hang the chandelier from during assembly. I used an A frame ladder and 2x6 with appropriately sized hole to suspend the chandelier by the chain and supplied hardware and complete the assembly. After assembly, the remaining install was typical for a large light fixture. You’ll need an extra set of hands to hold and support the fragile fixture during install. Overall we are pleased with how it turned out and would recommend the fixture and Gallery Lighting. Hope this helps... ... show more

Afterr reading the reviews my wife and I were ready to tackle this project. The instructions that come with the product are pretty much useless. The one we got was one page and it was in Chinese. Attaching it to the ceiling was not as bad because we used the existing canopy and painted it the color of our ceiling. The canopy and mounting bracket that comes with the product are made for European electrical mounting. The canopy had a long rod with 2 inch threaded holes on both sides of rod. What is needed is a fully threaded rod that can have the canopy nut tighten the pc to the ceiling. So you will have to go to home depot or Lowes and get a canopy conversion kit. First it is important to make your electrical connections and then hang the base from the ceiling. They sent us clear 2 conductor wire so I had to buzz out the connections with the bulb base and mark with tape. This had a E14 base and the left side of the base is your neutral(white wire) connection. Its hard to find E14 bulbs so I ordered them at bulbs.com. I got 220v 60w so it becomes 120v 30w once hooked up. It is bright enough because it is 12 lights and will last forever since its using half the voltage. After you hang the base you need to install the lights into the silver round plate with all the holes. The you get 8 light arms, 4 longer arms and 4 arms with no base. The 8 arms are mounted on the outside holes of the plate and then you alternate the longer arm and arms without bulbs in the inner holes. Once they are aligned don't tighten the bolts. At this point make sure your nuts are all tightened with the rod and base so the chandelier is secure. Connect all the marked wires from the light arms and the wire that was brought down from ceiling. Its very hard to wire 13 wire connections together so its easier to do it in groupings of 6 and 7 and then wire nut that connection. After everything is wired attach the cup underneath to hide the wires and put on the final two glass pieces. The crystals are pretty easy, I recommend taking a pic of the product off of amazon and use that to mount crystals. The product looks great and you can't beat the price. Very glad I listened to my wife and not spend 1k on a chandelier when something this nice was available on amazon. ... show more

    • LOOKING FOR A CHANDELIER? YOU FOUND ONE!!!
Well we purchased this chandelier two weeks ago, to my surprise it arrived within a week (earlier than expected) it arrived in two boxes, one filled with crystals that was left at my front door and the other a large heavy box needed a signature. PRO'S VALUE: Can't beat the price SIZE: This is a large chandelier, very impressive! BEAUTY: Well, I have to say its absoulutely beautiful...lots of crystals and "bling"..show stopper! when I finally hit the lights..two words MAMA MIA...it lights up beautifully and bright and we only bought 40 watts bulbs... you can go lower on the wattage for sure...unless your looking for a tan :) SHIPPING: Fast and excellent. CON'S ASSYMBLY: My husband is extremely handy..it took "hours" to construct! (I had read the other reviews & I told him it would only take "one" hour..hey, you have to do, what you have to do, to get things done!) INSTRUCTIONS: The directions are not to be desired... they could be more detailed..it's basically a feel as you go project. DECORATING: Each crystal needs to be attached/placed on chandelier..fun, due to excitement of finally seeing it come together but time consuming and my chandelier did not come with crystal application directions..I still have empty hooks on the chandelier I dont know what to do with?... Did I not get enough crystals? or did I place them in wrong locations? I only had the picture on Amazon to go on..which is one dimensional...I plan on contacting the company.. ENGERY: This chandelier puts out a lot of power...get the lowest watt lights possible..we bought 40 watt bulbs and with 12 arms and lights on each arm this thing is glowing...it's a lot..don't get me wrong..its gorgeous...but throws the light..we are putting a dimmer on the light switch...my husband is handy so it wont be a problem for us. *All and all it really is "striking"...we have a vaulted ceiling and it hangs over our 8 person dining room table... it really fills the space and looks great...when I look at it, it makes me smile...and like I said "Mama Mia"! ... show more
