This mat is very helpful for swing path exercises and gives really precise feedback. I’m a low handicapper and my wife is just starting and it’s worked great for both of us. Probably not the best for ripping range balls on as the felt can get beat up with aggressive practice but that’s not really the purpose. out of the box I was disappointed in the turf material, hard to distinguish where your irons strikes are, hard to push back to normal. After hitting a ball off the mat it takes about 5 sweeps with club head to return the turf to normal, I was expecting an easy one sweep return it to normal. What really made me decide on immediately returning this item was within the first 2 iron strikes the white guide lines are already breaking. I don't think you could hit 1 bucket of balls off this thing before those lines are gone going to check out some of the competitors to this product, great idea with horrible execution. Works as advertised, stays in place & does a good job of showing you your swing pattern. However durability is poor. After taking 25 or so swings after opening it the front edge is showing wear & the foam under the mat is ripping off and shooting across my living room when I swing. I purchased the medium mat & the problem is the front of the mat is not long enough. Even when swinging a wedge the club face clips the rubber at the end of the mat. I’d recommend the large mat if that solves this problem but would not recommend the small or medium mats. ... show more

Works alright just can’t use it too long. After a few swings this happened. Turf doesn’t really show a clear divot sometimes and you have to reset it with your foot instead of your club.
