Fantastic pad that does the job I was expecting it to. It is thicker than thinline pads but thinner than mattes pads and it molds nicely to the horse after a couple rides. But at the same time still retains its shape. Worth every penny.

Was definitely sceptical as used the competitions product for years and was a fan but over double the price. Figured I'd give it a try as on budget after Christmas. Boy am I glad I did!!!! It's a little thicker but with that forms to my dressage saddle much better and my very sensitive Freisian Cross LOVES IT... much better ride. Would DEFINITELY recommend! ... show more

There are so many different half pads out there that it is difficult to know which one to choose. This half pad is a great choice and just as good as pads twice the price. I have owned two of them and they work well with a variety of horses with different body types.

Horse seems to really enjoy this pad. It is quality made and a lot less costly than some others out there. I like it as well as the thin line and our horse seems to be more comfortable with it while my daughter jumps him.

    • Nicely made but way too thick for me
Good quality and nice appearance but way too thick for under my saddle. I felt like I was sitting on a big mattress. Nice and soft but not as soft as an Ogilvy half pad. I did sell it to another boarder at our barn and she likes it and it worked for her.

Just got it in, but I can already see it is quality made and thick! It kind of has a memory foam feel to it. I already think my old mare will love it, I will add to this review as time goes on :)

    • Can Never Say Enough Good Things About This Pad
I literally can never say enough good things about the Lami-Cell pad. Absolutely love them and have since I got my first one a few years back.     • Not very fitting or comfortable for my horse
So I was expecting more of a gel like material, as gel pads have been really shock absorbent. But I found that it’s actually really stiff and my horse does not like it. He has high Whithers and a sore back from his old saddle, so I was hoping to relieve some of the pain and stuff pressure by adding the gel pad. I ended up never using it again after about 20 rides of him still being uncomfortable. I found a better gel pad that has fluff on the edges and way more shock absorbent and flexible, which he has come to love ... show more
