Being a military family, we're pretty down on our luck most of the time. Our kid is an extreme sensory seeker and has managed to break not one but two entire dressers and a book case. We found one curbside that had good bones, but it had the WORST Barbie pink (and I'm saying this as someone whose favorite color is Barbie pink) paint job. I sanded it off, not without some difficulty since I'm pretty sure it was acrylic craft paint, and primed it. I picked Vintique's Wisteria color to replace it since my girl is a purple girl. Y'all. That was the SMOOTHEST paint job I've ever done. The finish is FLAWLESS and beautifully matte. The color is so vibrant and dries beautifully. That little 8oz jar was enough to cover the body of that dresser twice before I ran out. I ended up buying a second jar to repaint her book case next, and I might even have enough left to do up some floating shelves for her too. Loved this paint to spruce up our bathroom vanity. I was reluctant something this inexpensive would hold up so well but it’s been a week and there are zero chips, and these are drawers we open and close daily. Can’t beat it for the price. I got this and I didn't know what to think especially when I opened it and seen the color. This is hands down my favorite color and paint. It not only went a long way it also covered great. I'm absolutely in love with this dresser I redid and now I don't want to sell it.

This chalk paint has been an impressive find for my DIY projects. It applies so smoothly on furniture and various surfaces from wood to metal and beyond, giving everything a clean, matte finish. What I love most is how little prep work is needed – no sanding or priming beforehand. Nice low voc, more natural paint. Also, low odor and nice colors, but it did not mention the prop 65 warning in the info about the product--sadly had to return because I was using it to paint the trunks of my organic fruit trees. It might have been with just the color I chose--I don't know. Anyway, a low toxicity paint, but not low enough for my needs. However, many people have fallen in love with this paint. Started with a washing with Dawn and water and allowed to dry. Did a light coat and then a second coat. Went over lightly with a third and love the results. Furniture was so dark. Will finish with a wax and possibly change out pulls.

I’m a little discouraged as the Sage color was way more green that what sage is so I on,ybused enough of the paint to see the color on the project I was going to apply it to. I won’t be using it as it also seems much thinner than my Waverly Chalk paint is.
