  • This product works great!
Color: White
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works great! We remodeled a 1970s farmhouse, and the shower was an almond yellow color. Instead of having to buy a new shower, we decided to try this product first. It was super easy to use. Took about 3 coats to look flawless (was able to use one kit). We love the way it turned out! ... show more

  • Worked As Promised!
Color: Dark Grey
This product saved me thousands of dollars! Our bisque-colored tub and shower had deep iron stains from hard well water that I couldn't scrub out. I didn’t want to replace the whole setup, so I researched and gave this product a try—and it worked exactly as promised. The process took three days: Day 1: Sanded Day 2: Cleaned and dried Day 3: Applied three coats of paint It takes seven days to fully cure. I wish I had a “before” picture, but I’ve included photos showing the first and final coats. The kit includes everything except a small paint tray (which you’ll need). I chose dark grey—note that they don’t sell extra cans in this color, so I had to buy two full kits. I ended up using one full can and half of the second. For under $100, our tub looks brand new, and our whole family is enjoying it! ... show more

  • Buy extra paint, and don’t use the given roller! Came out great!
Color: White
The media could not be loaded. Looks great! Feels like a new tub! So let me start off by saying if you order the small 16oz container, please be sure to order more than one. This tub renovation turned into a 3 day project. I have a fiberglass bathtub from the 70s that has been cracking here and there. I patched up the cracks and holes then cleaned and sanded it down all around before applying this product. From all the videos I’ve seen on how to use this, no one really mentions how difficult it is to use the provided roller in a small space. It took me a little more than an hour to apply one coat! It even took up most of the paint. So I read in the instructions that you can use this product with a sprayer. Ran to my local hardware store and bought myself a universal sprayer that attaches to my drill and sprayed away. BY ALL MEANS I HIGHLY RECOMMEND sprayed over rolling if you have a little extra budget. Not only did it look cleaner and more even, it saved me the time and hassle by more than half the time I would’ve spent doing it with the small roller. After the third day I let it dry for 48hrs and it came out fantastic! I even applied new cocking all around to the finishing touches. ... show more

  • Easy to use
Color: White
I recently used the Tub and Tile Refinishing Kit to refurbish my outdated beige bathtub, and I’m sharing my honest thoughts. This product promises to transform your tub with a durable epoxy coating, and I was eager to try it as a budget-friendly alternative to replacement. The kit, which I found for around $50, includes everything you need: epoxy resin, hardener, gloves, a brush, and cleaning materials. The process was straightforward but time-intensive Where gloves and a mask. • Good short-term fix.
Color: White
We used this on an acrylic bathtub in an apartment we needed to quickly get ready for new renters. We prepped the area exactly as instructed on the box. We painted as instructed. This went on much smoother than other bathtub paint we have used, and is very low odor. BUT, 6 months later it is starting to peel up. I will use an acid product to clean and sand the peeling areas, then reapply and see if that helps. Anyway, it's not amazing, but it's not entirely terrible either. Kind of sums up landlording as well! :) ... show more

  • Disappointing quality and poor results
Color: White
I ordered the complete kit to paint my 90’s fabulous almond acrylic shower pan semi-gloss white. I am very experienced with all types handyman projects, especially painting, and given the reviews I thought that this product should be easy breezy and yield good results. THE RESULT WAS POOR and took 4 coats to get something passable vs. the 2 advertised. I would NOT recommend this product due to its poor quality and ineffectiveness. With many thousands of square feet of painting experience, let me start by saying that the key to painting is prep. I did immaculate prep work for this project to ensure maximum adherence - the surface was clean as a whistle and scuffed with 240 grit sandpaper as per instructions. (Their provided 330 grit paper was terrible and just left gray dust everywhere). Given the small surface area I was working with I knew I would not need to use the entire container from the start so I planned to make up half of it. The paint is a 2 part product with the liquid “hardener” additive coming in a paper pouch vs. the plastic container you see in all the YouTube videos showing how to use the product. This makes it very difficult to measure precisely if you wish to split it in anyway - not to mention avoid spilling the stuff when tearing the paper pouch open. I tried my best using syringes and dosers I had to admin medications to a pet, but this was not ideal and hardly precise. The next issue is that I started by using the provided roller - DON’T - the coverage is terrible if there is even the slightest bit of texture (ie. The typical anti- slip floor surface). I used the provided brush instead which seemed to be doing the job. But after the second coat the paint was so uneven, puddled and had drips which required me to do a pretty thorough sanding. Again, their provided sandpaper was terrible leaving so much gray dust everywhere. Not in the directions but you should sand between coats otherwise anything uneven becomes more so. I used a high quality paint brush for the 3rd coat and had better results - but the brush marks were still very pronounced in many parts. I smoothed these and did a 4th coat as needed but the final result looks nothing like a smooth original finish - it looks like it’s been painted. And that is not the goal for this type of product. Overall, this was a disappointing product - the included materials were terrible quality and the product itself failed in its mission. I’m giving it 2 stars only because based on my sanding experience it seems like it will hold up and even though it looks like a DIY paint job, it still looks better than a dirty looking almond pan. See attached photos: first three show results after 4 coats. Note the uneven spots and obvious brush marks. The fourth shows how extensive sanding was required after the advertised two coat coverage. ... show more
