Awesome speakers! Obviously not the best out there, but in a single cab truck they will do the job just fine. Tweeters are pretty clear even at higher volume. Low distortion so far through tests.

When I first installed these in my 2008 Lexus RX, I thought the high end sounded terrible. Then I thought about it and realized that the original is just a bass driver behind a crossover and only produce bass sounds and filter the highs out. No biggie. CerwinVega, Mic drop........ CerwinVega has a long standing reputation. Of designing the products with the average person in mind. Meaning anyone can purchase one of speakers and install it in just about anything. Rather they're experienced or just a novice. CerwinVega has them covered. With all the above mentioned in mind. I couldn't have more impressed with the speaker build quality. First off the rubber surround at this price point. Put the speakers above and beyond there competition. Thanks to the rubber surround the speaker is able to hit every single base note without distortion. That partnered with the mid range acoustic capabilities and the crops high range sound coming out from the tweeter. I was extremely happy while listening to some old school Eazy-E turned up while waving my hand threw the air outside of my window. I thank CerwinVega for once again supplying me with great sounding car audio. But for bringing me back to my youth. And that last part well that's priceless. ... show more
