The pillow is very soft to the touch. Just the right thickness. Head is comfortably aligned and It's comfortable to sleep on. I feel that it does help with neck stress and I have less stiffness and soreness in my neck in the morning. I've only had it for a few days but I do see improvements. It did not have an odor as some reviews read. I also didn't feel that the divots in the pillow did any type of "messaging". That should be removed from the description of the product as it is very misleading. It is a cooling material too so my head doesn't get hot laying in one position too long. In my opinion I seem to be benefiting from using it. Everyone's neck issues are different so what works for me might not necessarily work for you. Sometimes you just have to try multiple items to see if it's a good fit for you. This one happened to work for me so I would recommend giving it a try.

I got this pillow because I have shoulder and back pain and was looking for a better pillow than my last. I gave it four stars because it takes some time to get used to the pillow and I still feel some pain. That being said, I have had this pillow for 3 days. I am hopeful that overtime my pain will be gone. After just 2 nights my pain is 90 percent less. I am hopeful that with time my pain will go away thanks to this pillow. I am very happy with this pillow over all. I am getting a better night's sleep.

I love this pillow! I suffer from pain in my neck and back and I sleep on a mountain of pillows to help cussion my joints, which due to Fibromialgia they are almost always in pain. This pillow has replaced all other neck pillows bar-none. The versatility... I can move my neck to the corners if I need to be higher, my neck is supported very well when in the middle, it keeps its shape while being super comfortable and has support to lay your hands on the sides. Now, my husband is used to laying on a mostly nonexistent pillow. I call it the pancake. Due to this, when he tried this pillow, it was too high and uncomfortable for him. He would have returned it if it were bought for him, BUT IT IS ALLLLL MINE (villainess laugh). So if you also use a pancake pillow to sleep on, this pillow will more than likely not be to your liking. My only want with this pillow is a separate pillow cover that contours to the shape of this pillow. I don't want to get the original one sweaty and would like another for an added layer of protection. I used a regular pillow cover and it makes it hard to support your arms on the side as the pillow is meant to do. Other than that I highly recommend this pillow.

This does help my neck pain, but doesn't have enough lift to keep my shoulders from being crushed as I sleep. I had a shoulder replacement and it gets smooshed when I sleep on that side, so I end up folding the pillow which negated the neck . I also wish I could turn it, could only use this pillow one way.

I love it, mine did not have a smell and it is so comfy, my regular pillow was killing me, I sleep on my side and my back and its great, I also just have a regular silk pillow case over it for my skin and hair.
