Amazon almost nailed it but fails at its #1 core basic functionality. The calendar does not sync properly. The Alexa calendar does not accept calendar subscriptions directly. It relies on 3rd party calendars like iCal and google. You link these calendar accounts which may have subscriptions, then cross your fingers and hope they sync. For example, I have a kid that plays soccer and subscribe to a team cal through iCal…NEVER SEE IT ON THE ECHO. I see the calendar in the echo settings, i see all the events on my calandra app on my iPhone, I toggle the syncs and no info is ever transferred. This is a critical fail. I’ve deleted the widget, re-loaded it, deleted my apple linked account, re-added it…nothing. How does this hub lack such a basic feature? Amazon, either fix your own crappy Amazon calendar by allowing subscriptions to say team sporting events or ensure calendars actually sync. Update: thank goodness for helpful online people. You have to add iCal events through Google calendar as Google will pull the url. Amazon calendar only recognizes url based subscriptions. They need to add google url pull functionality here. Amazon really needs to improve their own calendar by allowing direct subscriptions! ... show more

This works well for my streaming. I purchased 2 of of these devices, one refurbished, one new. I bought one for my bedroom, and one for the living room. I do have huge wall mounted tv's in both rooms, however I live in a condo, with neighbors with sonic hearing, that instantly call the hoa just from the low audio. The wall mounted huge tv's have lost their novelty as well, so it's time for them to go. These echo show 15 are perfect for streaming! Clear crisp picture, and just the right size for viewing. I have to say, I think the audio is better on the new one. I have no idea why, maybe my imagination??!!?? I Definitely recommend a remote fo each one you purchase however. Aside from using amazon video, I tend to watch youtube alot. While the touch interface works well for Youtube/etc, it's nice not to have to use the touch screen at times. (A-word-to-the-wise) I initially used the refurbished one in my bedroom. I kept hearing popping and buzzing noises, and I was really concerned, for absolutely no reason. It turns out, it happend to be on the same powerstrip as me electric mattress pad. Every time the pad would turn on and off, sure enough, that was the cause of it. I had left an eh... unfair review when I thought it had issues. As it turns out, It was totally my fault. I have learned a valuable lesson, and that is, I will never leave a poor review again until I am sure there is an issue is my purchase only if it can't be resolved as well. From here-on-out, the rule I made for myself is investigate/troubleshoot first, instead of freak out first. I highly recommended both the refurbished device, as well as the new one. They both are high quality, solid devices. There are so many really cool features as well, which I won't go into more. Thank you Amazon folks! Works great, love all the functions, the volume could go louder though, I feel like it’s not as loud as my Echo Show. It is fast and has great visuals. If it was louder it would be a 5 star

I have several echo devices and when i saw this echo 15. I had to have it. I ended up getting a refurbished for $150. It can show you your ring camera and others. Works great and its nice to have a big screen for my amazon devices.

We needed something that was large for everyone to see our family google calendar. It syncs right away with my google family calendar. We looked at other brands with the calendar feature but we like that it has other features like a to-do list, shopping list, and we can watch TV using apps like Hulu. Ours is in our kitchen area. I also love the sticky notes and video sticky notes that we will likely use once school starts. I only wish that the calendar fester had more options for how to view like I can on my phone app. I have been recommending this to all of my mom friends! ... show more

So far a great product. Its a great way to show off your photos, listen to audiobook or radio or watch a YouTube video. Its great that Fire TV is integrated into the product, and the display looks great, but I do not see myself watching a 2 hour movie with it. The widgets seem cool but I do have to study which ones would be useful. My only gripe that I have is the wall mount. If you mount it to a wall, you are unable to change it from vertical to horizontal. I do believe there are third party manufacturers will allow you to change positions but other than that, its a good product. ... show more

We have loved our echo shows through the years and wanted to upgrade to something bigger in screen size. When I opened the product I was impressed with how well it was packaged and glad it made it here without a cracked screen or damage.
