My only criticisms are that (1) the green color is very dark, nearly black, in some lighting. Still an attractive color for the dishes and neutral regarding what they will go with, it's just not what I expected. Food looks very nice on them. (2) While the bowls are fantastic for microwaving old fashioned oatmeal without boiling over, they are too large to nest in our dishwasher as I had anticipated. It's a trade-off. Seems to be a common style design these days. I ordered 3 sets of 6, and every single piece arrived undamaged even though all were put in a single very well packed large box which we estimated to be about 90 pounds after converting from kilograms. Even after deliberately trying to scratch the back of one piece with a fork and scissors, no scratches appeared. Scratch resistance was our primary reason for seeking a new set of dishes. These appear to be very high quality, but we've had them for only 3 days.

I like the set. I wish they came with the coffee mugs. I purchased them separately with the hopes they would match since it didn't say the same blue color as the dishes. The dishes are a bit smaller than my old set and the bowls are much smaller but I really like how the set looks.

Plates are gorgeous and high quality. On the higher end price wise. The plates are thick and have a pretty detail with a hint of ocean blue near the center. However, I did receive one plate that was scratched. It came packaged very well and assume the plate was damaged pre-delivery. Would rate higher if they all came in excellent condition.
