This is a very high-quality plate set; I highly recommend it! I've always wanted a plate set that can hold a saucy dish without spilling, and I've finally found one that's not only functional, but also sturdy and elegant.

The box these came in are very heavy and very well packaged! No broken plates or bowls to be found and I like that they are very proactive in that if you have a damaged product they will immediately send you the replacements for free! The quality is very well done, they are heavy without being cumbersome. The reason I am knocking off a star is because the plates and bowls dont sit flat when stacked. They slide around a bit when you stick them on top of eachother because there isnt a lip on the bottom on the bowls or plates. The second thing is that I find the dinner plates to be just a bit too big for my taste. When I went to go put them in my cupboard I really thought for a second that the door wasnt going to be able to close because thats how big they are, but just BARELY the door closed. Overall I think this is a very good set for the price, but I dont think it will be replacing my main dinnerware set for the reasons I stated above.
